If someone happens to go near the hidden entrance to the western forest, that leads to the ruins, A pile of gear, chainmail armor, a cloak bearing the symbol of Mielikki and the Oakmist Vale Insignia, a longsword, and a shield can be found. Further inspection would reveal a leather journal with the name Crow written in common, Draconic, Elven, and Drow on the inside cover.
(see Crow's Musings of a Lost Soul for journal content)

A certain Hin runs into the scattered mess. She picks them up, one at a time, realizing pretty quickly who they belong to. She prepares herself with some protections and checks the area for sneaks, before picking up everything else. She checks Crow's belongings for blood and looks over the area for signs of a struggle. After that, she would take to her wolf form and look for a scent track to follow, with her pack right behind her.

Thysaeryl still not being seen in the forest for the third day would of course... be clueless to this

There would be tracks of two humanoids and something large leading from the path, and signs of a scuffle outside the Old Hag's Hut. There would be some blood, but not much on his clothing. Also, Willow would be able to discern that Crow had come (walking) from the south behind the Hut to where the scuffle took place, and that he had two wolves in tow.

Within the grove itself, a tired looking Durpari woman might be seen moving about with a crying bundle held tight to her chest, asking to the whereabouts of Crow over time to any she came across. Perhaps from a more general concern than anything though.

Malandria would inform her that she doesn't know where Crow is, but that she is heading out for a patrol anyways and that she will look out for him.

Willow would look for tracks and scents that might lead to where Crow might have left to or been taken to.

The tracks lead from the scuffle to where the pile of gear was found, there is some trampling of the area as the figures moved about, but no tracks are leading away from the pile. Also, she may notice that none of Crow's boot prints lead from the scuffle to the pile, but one set of wolf prints, the larger of the two, leads somewhere off into the forest to be lost.
