Nicodemius posts a poster in several locations with a sloppy drawing of a pair of pants of some poofiness. The poster reads as follows: "WANTED - My Pants! I seem to have lost them, and my marbles are in them so I suppose I have also lost my marbles! Reward offered for their safe return! My name is... " here several names are crossed out as if the person at the last moment decided it wasn't their name then settled on one: "Nicodemius!" |

If the process continued long enough, perhaps Guard Captain Tarvencia would run into him during his routine and would help him to his feet after watching the cycle once or twice. "What are you crying for?" |

Nicodemius looks up to Tarvencia with wide eyes. "My marbles! I've lost my marbles! Forever!" He would then pull an empty pouch from his belt to show it to Tarvencia and return to his sobbing. |

The rope belt tied loosely around the waist of Nicodemius' long red robe taunted Kaithan with every gleaming white fiber of it's being... meanwhile Nicodemius nibbled on a cookie and waited for the guard captain's response. |

She just blinked, looking at the old man and gently rubbed her forehead with her gauntleted right hand, perhaps doing her best to keep composed. She spoke in a rasped voice, sort of like a hag, and continued. "Well, maybe. You--er, we could try to find them. Or, we could just get you knew ones?" She clipped the posting Mina made down, to break the inevitable cycle. |

Nicodemius looked at the woman and furrowed his brow. "New what?" He then patted around his robe for his pockets. "I've.... I've lost my pants! We must find them, they are quite important!" |

Perhaps Nevaeh would have rather pinched her brow, but she simply offered to buy him new pants and marbles. |

As it happens, a certain half-elf strolls past the pair, whistling cheerily. Fate, be it kind or cruel, had its way as a pouch dislodges itself from his belt as he strolls past - hitting the ground with a clak-clak; several small, round balls of colored glass roll from within, and more can be spotted easily. The half-elf moves on, seemingly unawares of his loss. |

As Nicodemius hears the klak and looks over he exclaims proudly: "I found my marbles!" and rushes over to collect them then looking to the Guard Captain he ties them to his belt and furrows his brow. "I need pants still... yes?" |
