What started with a single badger being stolen away and never seen again, has become a bloody mess strewn through the forest. Entrails of various animals can be found littering the forest, thrown over branches and stumps. In the main part of Amia forest the following animals can be found hacked to pieces; 3 badgers, 2 boars, 4 deer, 2 wolves, a ferret, and some bats. It would be clear to anyone who looked, that these animals were slaughtered without much struggle, but then continuously chopped up until only a slush of gore was left. Their heads were left untouched, so that the animals could be recognised. Nothing is found near the Roadwarden, or within his line of sight. |

Perhaps the rumors of an apparent rage by Voronwer begin to include the butchered animals as his victims... |

After seeing the slaughtered animals, Willow approaches one of the trees near the largest grouping of creatures, if there is indeed one, and speaks to it with her Druidic abilities. The spell she uses is known as "Speak with Plants," which would theoretically allow her to comprehend and communicate with any plant. She would ask it questions about who killed the animals and who was present during the slaughter, trying to get descriptions and such from it. |

Sylvra looks at her panther, Amma, and checks for badger pieces and parts. "Bad girl, bad girl." |

Daedalus, on his normal wanderings through that area, would glance upon the ruins. Releaseing a kind of "Erp!" noise hurriedly checking his massive metallic boots for more such evidence of smashed-to-shit wildlife and gore, seeing there isnt any he breaths a deep metalic sigh resonating from somewhere mid to lower chest region, scratching his head with a three foot talon and continueing on his merry way. Also during said walk he usually trips and smashes into a few trees and crushes a rock when sitting atop of it taking in the sceneic vista's that is amia's wildlife, bumbleing his way to the Eilistraeen shrine nearby. |

*a druid is seen just cleaning up in a few minutes with a few animals on her tail, not really worried that 12 animals and some bats died, knowing this will not damage the envioment in any way* |

Most of the entrails and body parts would not last long in the forest with so many carnivorous predators about, all looking for the easy take. If Crow were to find any, he would leave them, and perhaps make a mental note, not being too concerned. |

It has happened twice more, now three days in a row. It seems that sometime between midnight and dawn, all of the animals who are stupid enough to stick around are butchered. |

Even if some animals may show an unusual dense behavior, the druids apparently are not. And so the hunter becomes the hunted... as is the way of life. |

Asleep in the branches, Amia's resident Brownie is awoken from his snoozing by the roar of his steed as the Shepard of Amia Forest stomps to a halt and roars with grief. The Treant bends down with his bark like knees and lifts the carcus of a slaughtered badger up in his wooden hand. "Blood... and .. bones.. flesh... and.. soul... ended.. before.. its.. time.... this was... not predator... on.. prey... Not.. the... True.. Cycle!" The Brownie climbs down through the leaves and lands next to where the various corpses lies to scout and investigate for any signs of footprints and clues. "Mr Sycamore! What do the trees say? Did they see who keeps doing this?" The Treant folds up into a tree and hums a low rumbled groan as he begins the bond and entspeak to his herd of trees. Thimblepot sighs and looks around in a daydream. 'Is this time for the Seelie Artisan and his Seelie Sage to intervene?' |

Everything in the forest was slaughtered once again tonight, but this time it hasn't stopped with animals. Many trees have been bitten by the flaming blade of a sword. Slashes turn up on trees all around the Crystal Node, aswell as the trees lining the road south toward Bendir Dale. |

And so it comes to pass that Willow, in Wolf form; Din Dae, her dire wolf companion; and a "tree" sit at night and wait for the one responsible to come by... |

The slaughter doesn't happen again. Whether this is due to attention drawn to the forest, or a lack of interest in it, it is unknown. |
