*Thysaeryl reads the missive and just shakes her head*

"They must be really desperate now... do they even have their act in order yet or are they still bickering over who should lead? In any case.. I have enough enemies as is..."

*Thysaeryl muses to herself as she walks of her mind returning to other more important matters*

Torin reads a notice with a huffed sigh, in Wharftown. He looks southward before walking away from it, a frown on his face and a furrowed brow.

"Never enough time."

Cecilia stopped to read one of the flyers, taking in the detail and memorizing the name.
Mid breath, her body lurched forward with a growl. One of her pale hands swiped at the flyer, fingers curled like talons as they raked across it.
Her growl was feral and inhuman, sounding from multiple sets of vocal cords deep within her throat.

The woman's movement was swift, and after the flyer tore she straightened out as if the instant of losing self control had never even occurred and carried on her way.

"Samantha Lockeheart."

A muscled human male, carrying pitchfork and dressed in simple peasant clothing reads the sign in north Cordor. "I think that's our cue, Betty." he offers a knowing nod to a cow beside him. "Let's get moving, old gal." he murmurs, turning around and walking away with a hurried pace, cloak with symbol of Chauntea fluttering on the breeze.

A chain-shirt clad, brown cloaked and hooded man, with a longsword hanging lazily at his side spies one of these in Wiltun.

"Powerful things for just workin' guard duty. Eh, heh, I wonder..."

The man tapped the hilt of his sword a few times before making his way into the inn.

*A hooded figure in a dark gold suit of full plate with cloven hooves and a pair of wings approaches the notice in Wharftown, seeming to keep a constant watch on his surroundings as he reads it over*

"The demons have been dealt with have they"

*a smile lined with pointed teeth becomes visible from under the shadow of his hood*

"Saves me the trouble"

*turns and walks towards the Slanty Shanty*

A heavily robed wizard views the posting with mild amusement.

"You will never win Lockeheart."

He smiles to himself as he turns away laughing.

"It will be a fun battle between you and I. I look forward to it."

Appended to each of these that is seen....

Quote:
There exists a creature of fear and tyranny, its sole purpose to feed on the souls and spirits and bodies of the elves. We call this beast Ityak-Ortheel, the Elf-Eater. Normally residing in the Abyss, it is summoned to Toril at odd intervals by the Beastlord, Malar, and his followers to terrorize the elves.

I find it ironic that you are fighting the demonic forces in Caraigh by using those faithful to a god that has a preferred weapon of destruction that can be said to also be demonic, as it is Abyssal in nature.

'What does this have to do with the situation in Caraigh?' you might ask.

Quite simply, the so-called defenders of Ceyren's Mill employ the services of Malar's faithful.

A great many of the Beastlord's faithful are cannibals, feeding upon the flesh of people. It is often said that because of Malar's disdain for the elven peoples, elves are considered a delicacy among those cannibals. All of Malar's followers are bloodthirsty. It is, after all, one of his main tenets.

Perhaps it is also best noted that the Malarites have a ritual. They call it the High Hunt. It is a far cry different than the High Hunts you hear of from the Eilistraeens. Indeed, the Malarite High Hunt is when they capture a person, human or elf or dwarf or any of the races. The person is then 'released' and subsequently hunted by Malar's followers. They are almost always killed. It is said that a rare individual escapes these hunters and wins his freedom.

The defenders of Ceyren's Mill employ the services of these beastly people.

Malar, if none of you are aware, is one of the gods of Fury. He reigns alongside the likes of Talos, Umberlee, Auril. I wonder, defenders of Ceyren's Mill, would you employ them as well?

I traveled to Ceyren's Mill, Samantha. I traveled to Ceyren's Mill along with two friends of mine to offer our aid. The Malarite appeared and welcomed my attempt on his life for what he is. Before I could leave the gates of your ruined hamlet, I was attacked by a shadowdancing archer. I later learned he is elven. This saddens me, but it is no matter.

I was attacked from behind by this shadowdancer. Upon being revived and attempting to discern who had attacked me, your so-called Defenders of Ceyren's Mill plead ignorance. Instead of giving answers, they attacked me again. I returned later to try reason a third time. I was not able to even utter a single sentence before I was attacked yet again.

I met an elf named Anen. He called some of these defenders friend, he told me. He suggested I travel to Ceyren's Mill with him to attempt, once more, to reason. The one known as Eldainia, whom you have apparently left in charge in your absence, was unwilling to speak. Instead, I was offered nothing but death threats once more. I chose to leave and was being stalked by your shadowdancing elven archer assassin. I summoned a silver dragon to defend myself, fearing for my life as he had already attacked me from behind once before. Then I fled.

'Why all this long-winded nonsense?' you may ask.

I wished to make quite clear why the lot of you have earned me as an enemy. Is it not bad enough that you have demon-cultists at your door? Are you so confident in your chances at victory that you spurn sincere offers of help? Quite frankly, given the state of your small village, I think you would be mistaken if you think so.

And so it is that I will hunt every one of you until the assassin is turned over to me for justice. I will not hunt you as the Malarites do, no. This is not a hunt because I thirst for blood. In this, I thirst for justice. And I will have it.

My quarrel is not with you, Samantha. Indeed, I have never met you. This is not a call for war, either, although it may sound like it. This is me beseeching you to find some order within your ranks. This is me asking you to hold true to the ideals that made you pick up a sword and stand against the forces that are ravaging your lands. And if it takes hunting and killing your people to make you see this, I will gladly do so.

Conversely, if you wish to cease this insanity that is running rampant, you may reach me either in Cordor or Winya Ravana.

I await your reply,
Cilessa Isylunae

a hin in red and gold armor looks over the posters in Wiltun and shakes his head.

"They tell us it's over and apparently it isn't...I guess we're heading back into action..."

He portals away not 5 seconds after speaking to himself.

*Thysaeryl would see the new addition and she would growl and leave a responce underneath it*

"Elves attacking Elves in defense of Malarites... Malarites seeing themselves as defenders of "The Balance" when they would see Ityak-Ortheel better know as the "Elf-Eater" summoned from the Abyssal Plane to the Prime again... a Malarite bloodhunt being spoken as "honorable" when its nothing more then a bloodbath... and the more public these bloodhunts are the better? If I didn't believe this it would almost be amusing... but it's not and it seems the defenders of Caraigh are very confused... or delusional... or a mixture of both and desperate.

They removed one Tyrant for another it seems... one who would make deals with those who would summon a demon to the Prime... and here I thought the war in Caraigh was against demons and their worshipers? The Elf-Eater wont be forgotten nor those who summoned it... and those were Malarites and the Elf-Eater is a demon from the Abyss itself."

A small note is scrawled to Thysaeryl's response:

"It would be a mistake to assume all of the Beastlord's hunters are of the same stripes. But by all means, hunt us down for whatever reason you choose. Myself and perhaps the others of my ilk would be more than happy to discuss philosophy...

with your shredded and bloody corpses.

Thysaeryl is clearly overreacting over a few words she finds fearful and threatening to her very nature.

She makes up stories to scare those who would wish to aid the cause. An unpleasantl elf such as her is to be disregarded.
If she hides in her woods of the Amian forests and cares only for the places that are healthy, would you expect her to do anything to help nature elsewhere? Being one with nature, as I have seen it and experienced, is about caring for nature as a whole, not as a geopraghic spot.

Hopefully others will rally to this cause. I, E'dalar Griffonheart Solanthas, shall pay you personally for your efforts of vanquishing the criminals that even I find disturbing.

A green haired witch reads the notice in Howness and sighs.
"Ceyren's brought it unto themselves by driving out the man who would take care of them. Just desserts."
She then trots off for some mint ice-cream.

Crow reads the latest and frowns.
He removes Hector's note, folds it, and tucks it away.
E'dalar's note gets crumpled up and thrown into a fire in the Grove.
He moves on without a word, wolf in tow.

The noteboard with the most note-discussion on the first note soon finds another note. It simply reads:

"It's that one's fault! -->"

The arrow doesn't seem to point to anyone or anything particular.

Railen would drop by and remove everyone notes, save for the original post. He doesn't destroy them, but simply stowes them away. He walks away mumbling

"Must everyone make a senseless comment.." *sighs and continues his way back to Wiltun*
