*A note upon crisp parchment, written by a practiced hand.* ~~~ Priestess Persephone, or devout of the Mother of Healing whom it may concern, I am writing in regards to a condition I had spoken about with Persephone some time ago. I would like to arrange a consultation regarding a serious injury my hands sustained in the course of the Monolith of Mystra's conflict with the vampire coven of Count d'Mortegaurde. It had been mentioned that there was the possibility of a surgical procedure to alleviate the pain and reduce the probability of future complications with the usage of my hands. I would like to ascertain if this remains possible, and to get a forthright assessment of the risk involved with such a procedure. And an estimation of the minimum time required for a healthy recovery. As a wizard, the deft and precise use of my hands remains paramount to my Art, and whilst I am capable of such in my current state, at least most of the time, it remains painful. I shall state implicitly in this letter, I would rather live with the pain of this injury than risk a considerable chance *Scrawled in a nearby margin, perhaps as if by habit, then crossed out: "(>=1/6)"* of losing the usage of my hands that my Art so requires. Though I understand that there is inherent chance and risk in any medical or surgical procedure. Thus my request for consultation and assessment, pending any surgical procedures deigned necessary. While I understand and appreciate the demands of your schedule, and that upon your temple, time is also a foremost consideration upon my mind. Thus, I would appreciate as prompt a reply as possible. I might be contacted via missive addressed to the Slanty Shanty in Wharftown. My thanks for your time and consideration. Blessings of the Mother of All Magic, `Ulrik Valis ~~~
