*In cordor, and Kohlingens outskirts, and posted all over the isle chain, the following poster*
I will not stand idly by. The Horsemen were once a great organization, whose sole purpose was the protection of the people. People that for too long have been quashed by corupt governments, and by people who only care for one thing... Personal power. Some call us evil because of how we choose to deal with some, because our methods can sometimes be grisly, like chopping up necromancers, and putting them in barrels for the tradics to try in court. When I was made Captain in the Horsemen, I took an oath to protect the weak, we all did. Still, there were some that only wanted to create strife among the peoples. Those people were removed, or so I had thought. For a time the Horsemen seemed to stand for the ideals we had when our group was formed. Then the Red Wizards came. My intense hatred for the one known as Valkin is not unknown. His underhanded dealings with my wife, at that time, a captain as well, were only leading her down a dark, vile, and twisted path. I knew that something had to be done, and when he suddenly dissapeared, I was gratefull. The damage he had done to her, I thought was reversed, and we heralded in a new age for the Horsemen, both being commisioned as Generals, myself Praetoria, and Rose being Legion. We finished what Andras, and Valorian had started, we made Genesis. Genesis, a place of peace for all races, creeds, and religions. Under our hand, no violence would occur here. This is where things start to get out of hand. As they say, Power corrupts; absolute power corrupts absolutely. I watched as my wife began to have delusions, and then Valkin returns to the isle, and it seems that Rose is lost. Secret meetings with the villan, and gods know what kind of underhanded dealings. Yet still I had faith in my love, so much so, that I saw to it that she was elevated to the highest rank possible within the Horsemen, that of High General. I only blame myself for the fall from the once Honorable organization we once were, to the mockery that Rose has turned it into. The only ones that knew the new direction being the officers, meeting in private to discuss how to lie to our own troops, to make them believe we are the honorable organization we put on to be.The following is the exact oath that all horsemen take....
I, Sera Faluvious, who would be Praetoria, do hereby swear feality, and loyalty undying. and above all other to the Horsemen Legions. I swear to always obey, and to uphold horsemen law in all lands near, or far. I hereby affirm that Horsemen law is the highest law of all. I vow to always fight at the side of my fellow horsemen brothers, and sisters until the last ounce of blood pours from my veins, and my last breath escapes from my lips. I will put no other above the Horsemen. Not country, nor God, nor race, or faction. I will stalwartly defend the weak and weary from those that would commit atrocity, from the wicked, and the corrupt. I will enforce peace wherever war would destroy the people, and the land. I will always hold true to the Horsemen ideals, and spread word of us far, and wide, so that others may have hope for better days. Forever more, the goals of the Horsemen are my own.
Somewhere along the line, this...I will stalwartly defend the weak and weary from those that would commit atrocity, from the wicked, and the corrupt. I will enforce peace wherever war would destroy the people, and the land... Disappeared from our minds.
I want amia to know that someone is out there to right the wrongs the Horsemen have done. More importantly, I want you to know, Rose... I'm coming for your ass, and I -will- see Valorians vision of peace become a reality. You are a mockery of the once great woman you once were, Rose. I'll never forget your many betrayals, I'll never forgive you your crimes. The only thing I offer to you is a quick death by the hands of the only person in the realms that still loves you.
Sera, the awakened.
