A man lies bleeding out from a viscous self inflicted wound in his neck in front of Lathanders chapel. He is found, and taken to Moribund, where he is laid to rest viewtopic.php?f=3&t=55705 |

Captain Tarvencia responded to this with strange coolness, hearing of such as she worked her first patrol in a week or more. She supervised the initial assessment and protection of the corpse until it was prepared and transported to Moribund. Some witnesses may say she even covered the body with her own cloak until assistance arrived. She requested a blessing for his impromptu funeral, and an attempt to call his soul back in spite of the apparent suicide to be performed by the Chapel of Lathander, but whether it is done or not is not up to her. After the body is taken to Moribund for funerary preparation, the Captain searches this man's identity over a small breakfast and a mug of coffee. |

Included in his pack would be a few handwrittn poems about Lathander, his pendant around his neck, and a small pouch of ring, seeming to be Rings of the Dawnguard. Each ring has a small inscription on it... Light will prevail Another dawn is near Together we wont fail Hope will defeat your fear After the darkest night No matter what they do Dawn brings the blessed light Even your faith is new Reach out and feel his might... This Gold ring inlaid with Diamonds is Lev Darkens gift to the Dawnguard. Other than that, theres no evidence of who this man is, save for a key to his home in Cordor west, and a grocery list. From whats on the list, it's apparant the man has two children. |

*when news of his death finely reaches Arial she takes a moment to hug the daughter she had with him, whom she hasn't let out of her sight in months for fear of her being kidnapped and says quietly* At least I wont have to worry about him trying to take you away from me again. |

Elithiel sighed miserably when alone, back in the Underdark. She did not get a perfect kill, in fact, she was furious that a man killed himself, before she could. Still, her newfound friends, the Dawnguard, would make it easier to find the ONE, that would bring her the immortal gift, that her Lord promised, once it had been achieved... |
