Those traveling along the routes from minmir bridge to the walls of Kohl are finding the local denizens, Beastmen, Gnomes, Ettins and even the Ogres of the underpassage, maimed horribly.

Someone or some group is blinding them, crippling them and even slicing open their bellies so that they stand where they are afraid to move should their insides fall out.

Mages are left dead on the ground horribly killed in ways that would turn the strongest of stomachs. Only the animals it would seem are killed quickly and as painlessly as possible.

A Druid walks through accompanied by a large grizzly bear. Noticing the "local denizens" he simply keeps walking. Seemingly accustomed to fighting in the area, and with no indication of foul deeds other than apparent infighting amongst the locals, he couldn't care less.

*Azeriel through his patrols sees such horrific slaughtered creatures, he then ponders who or what kills and tortures in such a way... upon seeing any surviving suffering creatures Azeriel kills them swiftly and as painless as possible out of mercy...he further examines the creatures to try to understand what is doing such horrendous acts, or how such occured*

If any of the creatures would allow him to come close, Kent Thompson would wear his entire fullplate for safety before moving ahead to allow any that want his help to begin patching up the wounds on the creatures. If such wouldn't come to work, he'd simply end their suffering with the swing of his blade with a hand over his heart in sorrowful manner as he prayed to allow the creatures peace.

When he finished and doing what he could, he'd move along, mumbling under his breath, "No creature deserves such vile treatment, evil or no. My enemy or simply trying to survive, I shan't allow sights such as these to pain the eyes of myself or others."

Any of the creatures he patched up he made firmly sure to don't do them up too well, that way they won't be hounding folk along the roads once more. But still not be in agony like they were before so...

Sir Justin increases the patrols along the road. He too is appalled by the savagery of the attacks. If he finds any alive and in such a sorry state he pauses.

First making sure the area is secure from any hidden eyes by summoning the wyrmling. Then with it on guard he sheathes his blade and sees if he can heal the wounded by divine means or by simply placing a "ferver" amulet around their necks in the hope that this gesture might move the beastmen, hins, fey and ettins one step closer towards good path.

Some are so set in their evil way that they attack him and he is forced to destroy those he recently healed. Still he looks for the one that might respond to his good gesture and provide insight into what has occured.

Where possible he ask his wife and priestess of Ilmater Clair Volain-Fairfax to join him in attempting to redeem the surviving wounded.

On one of his patrols around Winya, Voronwer observes a person or two trying to heal the beastmen and ogres. He waits patiently until they leave, then proceeds to slay them.

Gorthod spots one of the maimed, and gut dripping ettins.

"Pull yourself together!" He shouts before wandering on past, apparently not all that concerned with their welfare.

A body has been left in the middle of the minimr bridge. In much the same condition as the others and yet with several differences. Differences that would be obvious to those with keen eyes for details.

First off tis a man and not just a local denizen.
Secondly, he was appraently killed with a piercing weapon, not a dagger.
The -only- wound he has that is close to those of the others is a belly that has been sliced open with a dagger. Though from the way the blood seeped .... or rather didn't, he was apparently already dead when this wound was applied.

His sword and shield are still there next to him, though kicked to the side, and his helm has been removed making him recognizable to any who know him. There are empty bottles of booze scattered all about.

The face of the man is none other then Art (and i don't remember his last name  , will edit and add when i see it again)

*A hin in red and gold armor, Yondella's Boon attached on his cloak with a symbol of Tempus on his back makes his usual patrol and spots Art on the Mimir Bridge, He quickly recognizes him and rushes to his aid, quickly pulling out a scroll of raise dead and revives him, patching up necessary wounds before taking him to the Saladran temple, The hin known as Snobbles makes his return with Katana in hand to investigate the area*
