In both the Quagmire Warren and the L'Obsul Warren is the following message etched into a stretched strip of rothe hide. They are written exclusively in Draconic.==========================\\\\\==========================
Though these islands bring our people innumerable hardships at every turn, you must not despair and you must not forget that we are a people bred from hardship and tempered in adversity - and that you are not alone.
Many of our people still dwell without the companionship, protection and direction of a Tribe; some rare few by choice, but many more people they are unknowing of where to turn and how to find their people in the confusion of so many mammals, so many cannibals that would sooner flay or enslave them. Ever have our people been bonded in community, able to withstand any pressure or trial with the support of the many.
While our people are smaller - some would claim weaker - than the creatures that tower over us in height, only we claim heritage from the Creators in truth and know the Dragon burns within us. Only we have built the greatest Hall the world has ever had carved from it, long before dwarf or elf learned to grasp tools.
Our people are small, but united in Tribe we are indomitable.
Our people grow and expand, and there is a place for you among us. This past season alone has seen the rise of the Dahakoan Tribe, lead by their All Watcher Ascalon; and the birth of the Vyth'Nok Tribe, lead by their All Watcher Axiat.
Suffer solitude no longer and join your people.
Seize your birthright and awaken the Dragon that has slumbered for too long.
Build and labor with us, so the world below and above will once again tremble in awe.

Another strip of leather is placed beside the first in both locations.==========================\\\\\==========================
We claim these territories and while they are our sanctuaries, they are difficult to view as homes while they remain so desolate. Though we Steelscales nest elsewhere, we conduct our labor from these warrens; work and home have ever been synonymous and we wish to make these warrens dependable and productive homes for all of our people. The L'Obsul Warren is a particular jewel that has been ill-appreciated; though it shares mines with the hated svirfneblin, the potential of the mines themselves should be overlooked no longer.
Let it be known that the Steelscales will support any Tribe, be they Dahakoan, Vyth'Nok or even Tenek, that seeks to improve the warrens. For many cycles our laborers have and continue toil and accumulate wealth; wealth which we would turn into the profit of all our people with pride and delight.
We do not offer charity, for it weakens the soul and the foundation of all built upon it.
What we offer is the strength of unity and the tenacity of our laborers working side by side with those who would also see our warrens carved into glorious testaments of our work and heritage. For this goal we will gladly supply our resources.

*replied in the L'Obsul Warren*
Dahakoan accepts the generosity of our brothers and sisters and seeks additional brothers and sisters willing to fill this warren with the delighted sounds of labor for the betterment of these tunnels and our people. Heed the call of your blood. Join us here and we will build marvels the mammals will gaze upon with jealousy and dismay! As the Great Steelscale created the first warren, let us rise to honor him by turning this stone into a marvelous creation that honors not only him but the Dragons as well! All kin are welcome to join us in this endeavor. Long live the tribes! Long live the Dragon!
