Post subject:  A letter left on the altar near the idol of Lliira

(( Please note, this isn't a public notice per se, but a letter left within public view. Thus, if you have no reason to have been near the idol, you have no reason to have noticed this letter whatsoever. Thank you for your non-metagaming cooperation :) ))

You see a letter, a moderately well written letter. The handwriting shows signs of great effort by the writer, seemingly lacking the calligraphy skills he so sorely wishes he had. It is weighed down with 5 gold pieces, and unrolled, therefore clearly readable by anybody.

~~ To the High Priestess of Lliira ~~

We recently discussed the recent wilful disappearance of one Miuo Nevai. I have recently spoken to her, and this place, of all places, was the Temple of Lovitar. Yes, as you can see, this letter is already going good places. After a difficult discussion, her and Shan hand in hand, many issues were highlighted.

She has wilfully accepted her situation, and is willing to allow others to suffer for it. I had conjectured that she was in fact a priestess of Cyric and request that she rescinds her faith to Lliira, but this had little if no effect on how she was thinking.

I have given her a note, with the statement "Joy?" scrawled on it, in hopes she will look to this scroll and compare it to her surroundings. It is unclear what effect this had, as she seems rather infatuated with this man to the point of mental blindness.

Now, you may think her recovery is the quest of a scorned lover. I would think so too, yet I feel no attraction to her, or anybody for that matter, whatsoever. It is, however, my goal, to return the priestess to her deity Lliira, so that she may at least continue to bring joy to somebody else in the future. Consider this Waukeen's patron thanking Lliira for the years of servitude while protecting waukeen's profile during the Times of Troubles.

Since her disappearance, I have not had a single feeling whatsoever. No love, no hatred, dark emptiness. This I would like to discuss with you in person, for now is not the time to discuss such matters.

Who knows, perhaps one day I shall convert to Lliira, but that is once again, a discussion for another time.

So, to summarise, I will do my best to recover and return Miuo to the Temple of Love, willingly or unwillingly, as I am no longer giving her the option. Shan must pay in pain, and it is with pain that he will pay.

Josalynn reads the letter with a shocked expression on her face. Upon finishing she kneels at the altar for a long time as she prays to Lliira for guidance and understanding, then stands and takes the letter to show to Xavi, to gather help and wisdom from the one she trusts above all others in the ways of a priestess.

After all this is done, she goes home, letter in hand and pens a reply to Hainis.
