| Post subject: | A Poem [Posted at Nomad's Return in Cordor] |
There were many things more to being a Spirit Warrior than just the martial training. There was the training of a still mind, a strong soul, and a sharp wit. Spirit Warriors were individuals that did not simply seek perfection, but sought to uplift every possible limit they could, so many of the shrine's warriors were multi-talented individuals. Naniko was glad for this, because there had been a certain newspaper she had come into contact with. While the last issue was not of note, the second to last was - the apparent Harper manipulation. One could argue that she was entering dangerous territory, if the 'media' was even telling the truth, but ... she was already in shallow waters. Writing a poem that seemed harmless to most, she hoped that this would catch their attention. If not... then perhaps they were not as clever as originally thought. Here I stand
Awed by your sight, my love Rend thy shyness Patience shall be our key Emeralds our pasture Red our flame Winters shall be warmed Hearths shall be lit Eternally united, forever Rid ourselves of loneliness Enter a new world Armed with courage Ready our hearts Empty our minds You are mine, and I, yours Our hearts intertwine United, forever -Signed, Naniko Arnai- |

Xaviera, dropping in to the Nomad for a cup of tea and a chat with Griff, reads the poem, nodding thoughtfully as she scans the lines and wondering if the writer might possibly be a Sunite. All of a sudden, she bursts into laughter and, borrowing a pen from Griff, adds the following brief note: "Such exquisite composition! Reads effortlessly, too!" Still chuckling, she pays the bartender, adding a healthy tip for an old friend, and saunters out. |

A few days later, Naniko walks in, catching sight of the brief noted added. Nothing seemed out of place in the note, so she simply smiled. With an added thought to the poem's original purpose, she adds below; Thank you reader. Actually, our very own Torin Starfall was some testment to my inspiration.

Tuomas whilst meandering around sees the name Torin Starfell on her thanks. Afterwards, he reads the poem curiously. ~ .. Definitely curious. ~ he thought to himself. |

A few days later, Naniko had thought to add another comment to the poem. She figured it wouldn't hurt to make sure the message was clear. Also, credit is due to Alanna Indire and Jud' Vadras Kenlyl. They were a great inspiration.

Seeing the most recent addendum on his way along, Tuomas murmured to himself. ~ ..Even.. more.. curious. ~ He briefly transcribed it and travelled off. |

Another apparently editorial comment is later added, in the same hand as before. "To Her Eminence: This excellent missive praises longing expressions of faithful love. One's very eagerness is sincerely manifest, one's rapturous exclamations flow unhindered. Nice." |
