 Dearest friends of the Golden Phoenix. We regret to inform you that a threat to attack our person, burn our gambling house down, and steal one of the trade boats from our modest harbors has been found out.
But who is that someone? Or someones?
The Horsemen and Horsewomen of the Apocalypse!
These brutes have decided to attack our modest little bayou. Why you ask? For the love of one of the federation's trade boats. They plan to set our gambling house on fire as a distraction...imagine that...a distraction!! Just to steal...a boat.*The writing is stained a bit here...perhaps...with tears?* Take away our livelihood, your entertainment...I just can't fathom the lack of conscience.
This saddens me greatly, as it does Cordor's beloved Griff's poor extended family who currently reside in the Delta, their only income and means to survive now threatened by these vicious, vicious fiends.
As we are but humble Lowlanders, and the pen being mightier than the sword we take this information public not to save our own skins! No! But to warn those in small, defenseless towns about this so wretched a foe that would ruin an entire village for the want of a boat, a boat they're likely wealthy enough to build themselves.
It boggles the mind, beloved friends.
We are ever grateful for those that gathered this information, as we are quite to move the boat to a safe location. The same can not be said for our Gambling House, the fate of which we leave in good Tymora's hands, as she has been most kind to us.
As a footnote, we've also learned of another groups less violent plan to steal one of the trade vessels. Apparently boat building is a highly needed skill on the isle.

I am Gill Bensbennard, of the Eternal Order of Lord Kelemvor stationed in Nes'ek, Khem. Could you... Tell me what it is about this 'Trade vessel' that is so important, that various factions plan to storm and sieze it? Further more, why the Horsemen would wish to 'burn down' the 'Gambling house' in order to steal a boat? It seems... Against their morals they have set.

Like General Praetoria said it's not like we can't just -buy- a boat...actually there called ships by the way. The Golden Phoenix is our favorite place to hang out why would we even think of such? Furthermore, we uphold Law we don't commit -petty- crimes. This is ludicrous and an investigation we'll start promptly to find those guilty of slander and they -will- face swift mercyless Horsemen Justice!

Attention one and all. It has been brought to my attention, rather obviously, that slanderous and offensive accusations have been brought to light of the public of amia by a company known as The Golden Phoenix Entertainment. For those who do not know they are the hosts of the lovely wine and gambling house in the lowlands. First, let it go stated that the gambling house, being most of our members top source of income, is therefore an extremely vital piece of our work. This being said, we have also been brought up on another accusation; The robbing of a boat from said Lowland Delta district.
Most of you who can swing a sword, or better, a quill, know how to purchase, activate, and properly use a portal wand, which is indeed far cheaper then a boat. 'But that cant get you to the mainlands?!' You may be asking yourself. We -do- have access to magics of Thay, and would find research into using such magic combined with said wands a -far- better choice then war, in which we would likely lose much manpower. We have no need, want, lust, nor use, for a boat of such quality, and even if we -did-, we do in fact have the money to purchase our own, and would promptly do so for the same reasons stated above.
Many of you have heard much gossip and slander about our organization that is often told by the common bar-wench. The same ones that tell you a piece of glass is a high quality diamond, simply to get cash, or worse; attention. Therefore, I offer you all to schedule a private meeting with myself, to calmly, discuss all of these rumors you have heard, in a dignified manor, and perhaps to learn more of us. Those who wish not to, out of fear, that is understandable. In fact, I urge you to bring defenses in such a meeting, to calm your nerves, for we have no hostile intentions to those of amia.
Come, learn the truth, and make your own bloody judgements.

The Horsemen base is located in the Skull Crags and Chilliwyck. Strategically taking a boat in the Lowlands, so close to Cordor, would be a stupid and fruitless move. As the Crags have no ocean access and their base in Chilliwyck also has no ocean access. The closest port is either Cordor or Endir Point. One place that is watching them very closely, and another that has outright banned them. Therefore, taking a boat from the lowlands seems particularly useless. As such, I request formal proof from the Golden Pheonix Gambling instiution that the Horsemen are indeed intending to attack this boat, and simply not be implicated to do such by those speculating due to their checkered past, or by simple rumour.
I feel in this case the Horsemen have been unfairly singled out by your organization. Proof of this exists in the form of you fully admitting that you have speculated other groups plan to do this as well. What proof is there that the Horsemen have simply not been named to distract you from the group that actually intends this act. Careful analysis shows that such actions would be completely fruitless, and an action born of little reward and great hate to the Horsemen.
Please publically reveal the information you recieved, unless you wish us to believe your have tarnished an orginzations reputation based on speculation and rumour, rather then solid proof. I believe an orginzation as professional and well known as your own would not simply make accusations based on such fickle things, so I'm sure you have no issue producing such proof for all to be aware and reassured.

The only thing I surmise is he's refering to the fact that the Horsemen justice being mercyless and swift to him means we treat all offenders the same. This is far from the case. Mercyless and swift simply means that, we we'll not give into bribery or coersion, we will not bargain and we will not stand by and let it happen. Justice should be blind to emotion hearing only the facts, and swiftness stands clear, we will not let a criminal, petty or otherwise, walk the free isle of Amia without paying for there crimes. The attackers on the temple were murderers and they were justly sentenced to the fate they forced on others. Slander however cowardly and low does not warrant death. I would suggest if any find those responsible fine them no less than one million gold and have them serve at least a week in cold cell to reflect on the idea that when there words and accusations are petty and contemptuous having nothing to back them but heresay and maliciousness and this affects adversly the reputation of an organization as a whole then they should answer for it. We of course will do the same if the individuals are apprehended by us, accompanied possibly with several lashings to make there stay in the cell more memorable.
Miss Killigrue rest easy and sleep sound we have no intention of any ill nature to your fine establishment. We in fact enjoy the the services the Golden Phoenix provides and would see any that would wish harm to you or any other, for that matter, held accountable to answer for there crimes.
