Those visiting the graveyard to pay respect to the dead would find that some of the tombstones has been smashed, graves has been dug up and corpses crushed by a blunt object. Up to atleast five bodies scatter the graveyard, all of them showing signs of brutal beating, the bodies almost completely broken. Almost as if someone had been really, really mad at them.

*Upon discovering this a certain Triadic Knight searches the area for any clues, and asks the caravanners if they saw anyone. Azeriel then heads back to the keep in a not too pleasant mood*

The merchant outside the graveyard might have heard someone screaming like mad and lots of "whacking" sounds. But whoever did it did not enter the graveyard from the main road.

Richard Manson, an Inquisitor of the Eternal Order can also be seen snooping for clues and asking if possible witnesses were present at the time of the crime. After his visit, the bodies have been tidied back to their graves and novices arrive to mend the gravestones.

*Azeriel takes it upon himself to see if there was any correlation to the graves that had been defiled, whether race, gender, social group.*

The destruction upon the graves and the corpses seems to have been made completely at random. However since Benwick graveyard is mostly dedicated to humans, it would be rather obvius that it was the corpses of humans which were the "victims" in this incident.

Another two graves could be found dug and empty. Some say that a few nights ago, a dark silhouette visited this graveyard and left soon after that in almost complete silence.

* there is now a high activity of knights in the area including a guard posting at the narrow entrance towards the minmir bridge. Clearly a culprit is sought after. *

A certain Lathanderite is lurking in the shadows of the graveyard, awaiting any more apperances.

That night, some force unseen opened the gate of the graveyard and closed them, once again without any sound. Few moments later, several strong flashes lightened the area, and moment later, horrible scream of agony could be heard. Then... the graveyard fell once again into the darkness and silence. In the morning, visitors or guards could see one sacrophagus broken and the possessions that were resting with the corpse, gone. Also, another grave was found dug and empty with simple note upon the tombstone, written in blood.

*A plume of poisonous gas swept in the middle of the night, as a sort of smoke screen, a transparent figure of darkgrey -barley seen amongst the smoke, knelt down to grasp the soil from the unearthed grave and placed a sample into a small pouch, before the smoke suddenly faded and the figure -vanished into thin air, almost as if, for a moment, time itself had stopped in it's tracks.*

Two men in dark robes stood by the gravekeeper's hut when one of them suddenly glanced towards the gate. He heard a movement behind the walls and without demur or fear, pushed trough the wooden doors, witnessing still opened portal. As the other man approached, he pointed at the fading runic scripture on the ground and spoke.

"Could be the Knights again..."

Few moments later, the Graveyard was deserted once again, alas those visiting it in the future would find the following summoning circle, somewhere among the graves...

A woman wearing a the black dress and veil of a mourner strides through the Graves of Benwick seemingly paying her respects to the fallen. As she draws near the symbol she lets out a gasp and backs away in fear then runs to inform someone at the near by temple of Salandra about the foul evil circle in the grave yard so they can inform someone. All the while though with in her mind she seethes with fury her hateful thoughts quite clearly "The dead of Benwick belong to my kith and kin, father laid the curse upon their bones and paid to bury them, and no one steals anything from an Emberblaze!".

In spite of all patrols and guards, another two grave are found defiled and another sarcophagus broken and robbed. One of the two graves still contains the corpse, although ravaged. It seems that the corpse was too old and fell apart when someone tried to take it out. The other one is just dug and empty, like those before. Locals say that the gate stood wide open all night, but that they saw no one walking trough. Yet again, in the morning another ritual circle could be seen on the crossroad, outside the walls, near the direction sign.

Akantha in her mourning garb strolls by the graves and upon seeing the defilement her ash gray eyes flare fire orange. She takes a scroll and scribbles a note quickly and leaves it stuck to the door with an iron spike.

The Graveyard has more then two entrances, set some traps and hurry up and catch this rat, his defilement is causing us who come to pay respects concerns.

After she scowls under her mourners veil and continues on her way her spiteful thoughts imagining the gravest and vilest of torments for anyone who would dare steal what rightfully belongs to the Emberblaze family.

Sixteen Graves are soon emptied.

**During the middle of the day, a dark figure may have been seen entering the Graveyard through the front gates, leaving them wide open. But not leaving. . or at least back through the gates. . or seen leaving.
The figure carried a large bouquet of Crystal Roses, several of the roses sit atop emptied Graves of the recently dug up, fresh and old.**

If the DM sees one more meaningless post about defiling graves, it will be nullified, because any schmuck can post "lulz ur patrols are useless", but it takes a real man to actually do it in game and risk retribution.

::Gill sighs, as he continues to repair Tombstones with Knight-Templar Jaocim Applegate, and Leaves the Patrols as he has been summoned to the Cathedral. Eternal Order Patrols are now lead only by the few Squires that walk the crossroads, and the few that stand by the Gate when they can::

Yet again, under the shroud of the night, another grave was emptied. This time, no ritual circle was found on the graveyard. On closer inspection, one might find that another grave was desecrated that night, alas the corpse was still there. Perhaps someone had to leave the scene quickly?
