 Taelar Ardelyn is found dead in the Nomad. A victim of assassination by an unknown figure. Griff and the Nomad patrons were the only ones who caught a slight glimpse of the hired killer before a cloud of darkness shrouded the whole inn. His head was cut clean off and missing on site. Hearing the gossip, as she hears everything, Anadrien simply can't stop a moment of gloating. She's better, but anger, bitter and hot, has by no means fully loosed it hold on her. After the moment passes, silent, she's off on her way again. |

Having been in the crowd a few moments after this occured, Glyph wonders if the guard ever caught the assassin, noting the raised security at the gates, also ponders how they got in or out, or if they left at all... He decides to visit the pub, for a nice ale and a chat with griff. "An elf you say? seams everyones in the dark about this then...two blades you say..." *downs a pint, wondering just what was going on behind the scenes in cordor* |

Daniel, out with his son Danny for the afternoon in the city, catches the rumor going around. A small smirk creeping up one side of his thin lips as he murmurs to himself "What goes around comes around Tae. Burn someone that loved you get burned back". Danny glances up to his father at the words "What daddy?" Daniel focuses on the moment and smiles down at his son and then bends to pick the boy up and swings him up to his shoulders with a laugh "Nothing Danny. Do you want to visit Master Cheng next?" The boy gives a gleeful squeal "Cupcakes!" Daniel laughs again "That's right Danny" They set off towards the diner but Daniel's green eyes turn to the door of the Nomad as they cross the Quad and they narrow again for a moment in thought before he lets the nasty business go from his mind to enjoy the day with his son. |
