It is with great sorrow that the Noble House of Vaughn announces the death of the Elder Lady Vaughn, Ivane, who passed in quiet dignity in her and her daughter's home in Kohlingen this day past.

She is survived by her daughter, the Lady Emma Vaughn, her brother (through marriage) Lord Gregor Vaughn and his family, as well as a sister, Elizabeth Montescue and her family in Waterdeep.

Lord Gregor Vaughn, the elder brother of her late husband, Douglas, has sent for her body to be cremated and interred next to Sir Douglas in the Cordor Cemetary. There will be a private family service in two-days time.

Lord Vaughn has asked that in lieu of flowers, any donations be made in her honor to a fund created to aid the farmers of Cordor outlying and to assist with rebuilding the Western portions of the City.

Reading the Notice, Illyana ensures that she pays a visit to Emma to pay her respects and offer condolences.

Furthermore, if permitted she will provide the materials for an appropriate grave marker.

The steward, Ballinore, would kindly receive the Squire and thank her, saying he would relay the kind condolences to his mistress upon her return, but would inform Illyana that Lady Emma is gone to Cordor to stay with her Uncle and Aunt through the family's memorial service.

The offer for a marker is also received with kind thanks, though as there is a family mausoleum in the Cordor graveyard, it is unnecessary, though he did mention that he would be certain the Lady Emma would be most amenable to a donation made in Lady Ivane's honor of such stonemasonry as may be required for West Cordor.
