Post subject:  Dawnguard Posters in Skull Crags

[[Making seperate as I think was initially intended for, or at least, won't cause one thread to be cluttered with two different occuring topics!]]

Posters designed by Renais Whiteheart show up in multiple duplications in the Skull Crags. The first batch reading as follow:

For the Lost Souls wrote:
You were born with a spiritual compass… a feeling in your heart of what your spirit needs in order to find deep fulfillment and true happiness. It is essential above and beyond all things that you stay true to this guidance.

Otherwise you will work your entire life, without fulfillment, to a cause you do not love – and upon your death be taken away to an empire of a god you do not love to continue your disempowerment eternally.

And that will be all your fault for not turning around to seek what nurtures you.

Many gods are present, and each can teach a path to make your spirit more aware, more powerful, and more beautiful than it was in its relaxed state. We have a choice.

Furthermore, no god can slay another – such has not occurred since the time of troubles, and the most famous death was that of the tyrant god, falling before a united front of free willed people.

Now, again, we see a common front. And though it will not slay a god, we will work together to end the reckless incursions by the church of the black hand in their solitary war against the rest of Amia.

The faithful of Lathander, god of rebirth renewal and creativity are building an army to keep the free voices safe. To join the faithful of Tyr, Torm and Illmater in sheltering this free world so no tyrant might touch it. Faithful of Sharess, Liira, Sune and Hanali work tirelessly to make this world beautiful.

Even the devout of Tempus, Kelemvor and Mystra take offence to the dark machinations of a church whose loyalty depends on convincing its members that they have no options in choice of fealty. When they do.

So next time you feel you have to silence your heart in order to pray… remember we are waiting, and the choice of how you live your life is where it should be and always will be.

In your hands, and no-one can take it away.

Enlightenment. Inspiration. Protection.

***Renais Whiteheart***

These posters appear nice and quietly in some cases... (quoting for another player, just meaning to be helpful!)

*seeing the poster in the chapel Stormy gets a mischievious grin goes to the mercantile in cordor making several copies she then starts posting them all over the crags hiding deep in the shadows as she does so*

*thinks out loud to herself in quiet whisper often used to calm herself if needed*
"Who knows maybe some of those Banites are just messed up in the head like I was. A little good news never hurt anyone."

*giggles and continues putting up more signs sticking to the shadows taking care to not be seen*

And following instructions from a superior, while only a little familliar with the Skull Crag region as thinking that's meant to be around where the trolls are, Dagomir tries to help out. He puts a sign at each entrance towards the troll territories from Bendir Dale direction trying to keep his skin intact not one of the strongest fighters yet or with any good hiding skills. Silver with gold decal armor and a full golden cloak, brown hair partially tied back, and light skin as a human male for anyone who catches him trying to do his work.

Needless to say, the posters are cleaned out by any Banite patrol which happens through the area where they are placed.

// If these are going to be replaced, I'm going to respectfully ask that it be done in game, due to the fact that the area is frequently patrolled.

Zacho goes to the church of the morning lord for more posters to put up, asking whomever it is that greets visiters about them

The signs are replaced from the foothills all the way to the logging town in the howling pass, planted along the main travelways from Bendir Dale, and from Cordor to the logging town, spaced about every 100 feet, the one right on the outskirts of the logging town as a extra note. " By the way, your leader is a coward who refuses to fight his own battles, Mister Gurth ensure that you don't enter a fight unless you have all your mages with you. Kiss my arse, Zacho"

The dark flames that enveloped his staff would set signs he found alight, he himself unharmed as he stalked the Skull Crags. No one was present to witness his most wonderful smile as he made a routine of destroying the wooden rhetoric of yet another short-sighted fool who likely didn't know how to put her armor on without someone else doing it for her.

Simple minds have once again started a war they cannot win...

There wasn't a twitch of doubt to be had, simply because even if the chances were remote of the Church of Bane falling, the chance still existed. Far stranger things had happened...

The irony of the words written on each sign wasn't lost on him.

Expressions of freedom and fulfillment to be gained only through betrayal and fealty? A Cyricist by any other name...

An earlier conversation played through his head: the fact that Gradwitz had expressed an inability to ever find this Renais and kill her did make for an interesting challenge, and suddenly he had something to look forward to in the coming days...

Somewhere on a higher road, the sounds of combat as would-be heroes did battle with the trolls only deepened his smile. He set fire to another sign and moved along.

A dwarven shadow can be seen walking around lighting aflame all the signs.

//you know, just becouse there is noone on the bridge doesnt mean that the archers from the wall wouldn't arrow the hell out of you. so please stop -metagaming- the guards alright? and it would be nice, since we have IC signs that you make the same instead of inventing gnommish glue of doom.

//In a more hospitable way of speaking... We do have NPC guards that can attack from range, I would venture to say could send out a battalion of guards across the bridge to attack you if they saw you defiling a Banite sign or someone openly wearing Dawnguard colors putting up propaganda. However, that said, if you plan on doing such things so close to the Keep, where NPC's are, attempt to get a DM, if one is available. If there was one with you when you did this, disregard this post.

//they were not threatening the the keep just posting up flyers unless the guards come down to look they wouldn't know what the posters said so why shoot? Stormy even recognized the guards presence and said "Were simply putting up some flyers. No need for alarm." There actions unlike the banites are nonhostile. Sorry for ooc just clearing that up. ;)

//Being as the screenies are publicly posted, how about we let the DMs decide if action needs to be taken, and otherwise not clog an otherwise fun IC post with needless OOC?
