Monolith Charity Lottery! Prizes: Four Custom made Plush Dolls of similar size and make to my typical wares*. As well, the Grand Prize, a Custom made, humanoid or approximately similar sized plush doll of any form within reason. This doll will in particular have some limited motion and animation, however will not be able to harm. Ticket Price: 10,000 Gold pieces per ticket, a maximium of five tickets per individual. ((Seperate characters can buy their own tickets but the item cannot be transferred between characters of the same player)) Availible Ticket numbers: ALL TICKETS CLAIMED Please contact Tuomas Valo to purchase tickets, at the Ruathym Monolith. Half of the Proceeds will be donated to the Ruathym Monolith, the other half to a charity or charitable organization of my choosing. If you are an officer of a charitable organization that would be interested in benefiting from my own half of the winnings, please do not hesitate to contact me at once. Tuomas Valo Note: If in the case of either prize the doll is a countenance or facisimile of a specific individual I would request their consent be obtained if possible. This can, however be determined at the time of the lottery. * OOC note: This would be a 1 DC custom description Plush doll item of similar make to the dolls Tuomas makes, with the DC cost paid by myself. (Non-powered) ** OOC note: This would be a 15 DC Bottled Companion which would essentially be a Life-sized (within reason) plush Doll. It would be designed deliberately as a doll that cannot be used to carry out violence or any sort of malevolant act. It would need to work within the specifications of such an item. All related request for the items will be made once the Lottery is completed (and will be entirely on my work. I had requested in princple if such was agreeable and it was so long as more story was shown to it, it was acceptable (I will provide all the related story once the winners are determined and what they want their dolls to be). How can I trust your intentions? 'Daniel' Daoskinaxarijikkym Holy Knight of Bahamut // Sorry: Habit from posting on Factional forums. Dear 'Daniel' In regards to charitable Organizations, I have not decided a secondary beneficiary as yet, but I am hoping to have suitable suggestions soon. As for my donation to the Monolith of Mystra, I am unaware to the financial situation however this is an initiative I am taking of my own volition on it's behalf. If I am advised that the funds are not needed at the Monolith then it may well come down to my donation of all the profits to another worthy charity. If you wish to discuss this more in person, please contact me with a suitable time and place. Tuomas Valo |

Naturally, notes are added to those with the 'Cancelled' sign. By his own words, he needed the gold to pay ~his~ taxes at the Monolith, even if the other half he would donate to any other institution that, mind, he did not choose yet. I just noted it was wrong to ask gold from others to pay his own bills after he, of course, mentioned my God's dogma about not directly aiding others. ~'Daniel' Daoskinaxarijikkym Holy Knight of Bahamut //EDIT to correct typo. |

One mustached mage is quite taken aback at seeing the cancellation as posted at the Monolith. "I feel it necessary to provide the following correction, as misinformation is being spread: The Monolith of Mystra does not require anything in the form of taxes or any other compulsory payment from guild members. Its operations, by in large, operate on the donations of individual guild members. The lottery was a voluntary undertaking. Some folk go out and 'adventure'; Mr. Valo is a businessman and craftsman. It is regrettable such was said and done to discourage this lottery so. Mr. Valo's craftsmanship is such I can attest. `Ulrik Valis, Headmaster, Mystra's Monolith" |

A resolved Tuomas walked into both the Market Hall and Monolith and placed the following, pulling down the cancellation notices with the intent of vapourizing them somehow. The Lottery will be proceeding ahead as planned with one Caveat on the Monolith's donation: That the money be used if possible to promote Magical education and availibility in the less fortunate regions of this island. Charitable organizations may still continue to contact me as needed for interest in donations. |

Daniel nods approvingly and sends a note to Tuomas, after posting an add to the one at Cordor. Since there is a limit set, I will buy five tickets even if I was willing to pay 100,000 when we first talked. Feel free to pick numbers at random. Or just return my note if you are not going to do it. If you deny my acquisition, I will understand. 'Daniel' Daoskinaxarijikkym Holy Knight of Bahamut |

A note is left in the Monolith for Tuomas. It is on helplessly wrinkled paper and written, as all her notes, in what smells and appears to be some kind of grape or berry juice. Dear Tuomas! I will have one ticket! I have enough coins for one. I do not care what number, just make sure it is a pretty number! Hugs! Bubbles |
