| Post subject: | [West Kholingen] Body hanging from tree. |
Hanging from the low branch of a tree just outside Kholingen's walls is the body of an elven female, her body lacerated with cuts, her black hair clotted with blood....her left eye shelled out. She seems to have appeared in this position within a matter of minutes, without any witnesses (that have come forward yet). The rope is tied in a standard hangman's noose about her neck, while the other end is tied around a heavy rock on the ground beside the tree, making it easy to get her down for any who tried. She could be identified as Alalia for those who know her. Carved into her chest are crude, angular letters, they spell... YASTON Below her swinging feet is a sheet of paper, pinned to the tree trunk with a dagger. In red ink it reads... I don't mind coming to your end of the island to fight this war, but if your knights won't show, you can sit in that keep and watch this become the most feared and dangerous road on Amia. Thinking of you. -V.A. |

A beautiful blonde aasimar, clad in fullplate, can be seen taking the body down on one of her patrols, fury twisting her features. She cradles the woman and carries her back into the Holy City, blood staining the amulets of Torm and Lathander at her chest. |
