Lieutenant Tarvencia may be seen putting up some familiar-looking posters, for the people who have been around to see the last recruitment drive.

((Alright, if you guys have any questions about recruitment for the faction, feel free to send me a PM. For those of you waiting on applications or have active ones out, I want to make a couple changes clear for you guys so it'll be less confusing/ frustrating.

We really, really want reference signatures from the PC Guards but I know that isn't a quick process for various reasons, so we're also accepting signatures from people in good standing with Cordor-- Jud'Vardas and Cerridwyn, for example.

There is also another opportunity you can ask my PC about, since it's more tuned to the prospective guard.

*Tain wanders up to the notice, and after reading and re-reading the short message for quite some time, pulls out a sheet of parchment and copies it down. She slides this into her helm, and wanders off to find an officer.*

A hooded figure in dark blue passes by these posters. In one hand he has a old tome crcked open to about the middle of the book, in the other is a staff with something of like a swirling aura. The man is slender but shows obvious muscle.

He backsteps to in front of the poster and turns, closing the book and reads the poster. A smile forms from under the cloak and he heads off with a thoughtful hum.

On his way to Market Hall, Crow stops and reads a poster.

"Hmmm, let's see I can get paid to rid the area of vermin and be the shining example of personality that I already am? But then, I have to wear all that heavy and loud armor, but I get paid. On the flip side, I would have authority over the multitude of fools that I encounter, and still get paid. Oh, I would have to take orders and be treated like a tool... but get paid for it. Hmmm."

The man rummages in a small pocket briefly and extracts the Waterdavian gold crown he keeps for just such an occasion. The coin flips into the air and is caught and covered quickly. Crow ponders a moment before uncovering the coin, inhales deeply, exhales slowly, then takes his hand from over the coin. He looks down. He smiles.

"I never was guard material" He says to no one.

A shadow crosses his face as a thought comes to mind
"She might respect me more perhaps, but the priest..."

Crow shakes it off, pockets the coin, and continues on his way; perhaps Hil'Rash will have the armor I seek today, he thinks to himself.

Aidan walks around the streets of Cordor, and stumbles across one of the Recruitment Posters. He walks up to it, and reads it over with a thoughtful look. A smile comes to his lips, as he pulls off one of the posters, tucks it away, and heads down the street.

"This is another way to be in service to Tyr.. as well as this City.. Now, to just find an Officer.."
