*Two warriors in dark armor were seen posting notes on walls at well frequented public places in Wiltun, Cordor, Zanshibon, Tarkuul, and Underport*

We, Narden Ul'faran and Tao Abasai mercenaries from the glorious city of Mulmaster are offering some of the wondrous items we acquired since we arrived on the island of Amia.
As we are traveling a lot, please contact us directly via Speedy if you want to remain anonymous or leave your offer on the note if you are interested in one or more of our fine goods.
The auction will be closed in ten days. (OOC: Thursday, 7th January at midnight GMT+1)
The items sold are available while stocks last.

*signed by Narden Ul'faran and Tao Abasai*

Through missive, Othokentir places a bid on several items listed on the auction notice.

Narden Ul'faran and/or Tao Abasai:

I, Othokentir, famous and legendary Kobold merchant, wish to purchase for seventy five thousand (75,000) gold coins one Ring of Kurtulmak. Please inform me of the best time and location to arrange for a transfer. I am available most days so long as appropriate advance notice is given. Thank you.

60,000 for the Ring of the Red Knight

Calin Katar, Warlord of the Order of the Flaming Blade.

The Hin updates her bid on a ring.

70.000 for the Ring of the Red Knight

- Willow

80,000 For the Ring of the Red Knight
-Calin Katar, Warlord of the Order of the Flaming Blade, and Worshipper of the Red Knight

*The Red Knight part is highlighted and bolded in Red Ink*

70,000 on the Shadow Dragon Shield

- Denti

The Hin reads the previous notice, noting its obvious intent and simply shrugs, leaving another note.

90.000 for the Ring of the Red Knight

- Willow
Collector of rings

The last line, done in a readable golden color.

Weston reads over some of the most recently put notes and nods feeling good about the thought that goes through his mind.

" 120,000 for the Ring of the Red Knight; for a gift to a faithful and honorable man: Calin Katar. The ring collector has no need with only wishing to brag.

Weston Carter, of Salandra's Temple."

Willow reads Westons notice and giggles to herself at the attention and backlash from her bid. She writes on Westons note.

If you had any class, you would have bid anonymously and not insulted me needlessly with your presumptions without knowing anything about my collection. Nice try, trying to make yourself look good in public though. It's cute.

She grins and leaves another bid after that:

130.00 for the Ring of the Red Knight

- Willow
A Ring collector that doesn't brag and doesn't insult bidders in the free market for bidding.

200,000
Ring of the Red Knight.

"Allowing Rings of Battle and Tactics to lounge in dust may bring the disfavor of these gods madam Willow. Would you risk the disfavor of the Red Knight or Tempus by allowing such rings to sit in obscruity? This is not a threat, but an honest concern for your well being. My goddess is known for her honour, not her mercy."

-Signed Calin Katar, Warlord of the Order of the Flaming Blade.

Willow leaves a note, but not a bid.

I don't let my rings just sit. All my rings are used by me for different situations. I use tactics in my day to day life, like any wise person should, thereby paying honor to the Red Knight through my work.

In any case, I didn't even plan to go over 100,000 in my bidding, because I'm not a wealthy person. But because of Westons blatant and uncalled for insult, I bid.

Good luck to you in the bidding, follower of the Red Knight.

- Willow

A note that smells of burnt wood is left.

"I'll purchase seven Greater Mythals, where and when shall we meet?

-Jaco S.E."

"A warning to other buyers. This message was sent to me today after I made the highest bid on an item."

*Attached is a copy of a message*

Quote:

Dear Calin Katar,

I am sorry to inform you that the Ring of the Red Knight has been sold earlier today.
We would have loved to sell that particular ring to you but as we are men of our word we sold it to the first buyer.
If we come by another one of these fine rings we will inform you at once.

Sincerely,
Tao Abasai

"As you can see, these men are playing a false game here and not stating that the items they are selling will be sold directly to the first buyer. The word AUCTION dictates that the items will go to the highest bidder, and not the first bidder. You have been warned.

Shop cautiously."

-Signed
Calin Katar, Warlord of the Order of the Flaming Blade.

500,000 for the Mage's Foe Cloth

A tearful Elrien tacks up a note.

Quote:

*Elrien Rowa receives a letter through Speedy's Messenger*

Dear Elrien,

I am sorry to inform you that the Rings of Eilistraee were sold earlier today.
We would have loved to sell one of those rings to you but as we are men of our word we sold them while stocks last.

Sincerely,
Tao Abasai

I was given the same note as Sir Calin...being as only two Rings of Eilistraee were for sale, and Lady Tu'jol and I were the only bidders, I wonder at the legality of this sale.
Sister Elrien Rowa

*another note is tacked up*

Quote:

Dear Jaco,

We would have loved to sell some of the mythals to you but as we are men of our word we sold them to the first buyer.

"How someone could buy that many mythals is beyond me..." he writes under it.

I am reporting these men directly to the Amian Trade Federation and I suggest any others suspecting them of suspicious activity do the same. Let the merchants sort out these men and judge their own.

Gray-suited representatives of the Amian Crafter's and Trader's Federation suddenly take a peculiar interest in this auction, taking down certain notices in various places - though always leaving at least one copy up for the public to observe - and looking them over with interest before hopping into a cart provided by Amian Cart Services and hitting the merchant trail.
