*a couple of the posters on trade routes near forests are marred by largish looking dirty smudges that are vaguely in the shape of the tip of a large canine nose, evidently something thought they smelled interesting...* |

The poster in Wharftown is removed. When it is put back up, it is removed again. In its spot sits Torin. Patiently waiting to see just who comes back to put the poster back up this time. Given that Wharftown is a very small town, and most everyone knows each other, it becomes readily apparent very quickly who the outlier is that comes in to repost the posters. |

A young blonde half-elf can be seen reading one of the posters, and carefully taking it down. Very public, of course, right where any might know her appearance. Judging by the staff she carries and, as Ryriska pointed out, her lack of clothing, one might guess she's a magic user. They might even be correct. |

Very quickly, and very promptly Nevaeh takes these down and makes sure they stay down. The guards on duty are informed, an informative notice is made in the watch house, etcetera, and the Lieutenant seems to have made it her personal duty to see that these posters are not in circulation within Cordor lands. |

A moody Hin would also tear down the ones in Wharftown, watching to see who's responsible for putting them up. |

On an idle day amidst his usual, self-righteous shenanigans, Earylduil spies upon these newest fliers. Drawing out a simple ink and quill, he - out of some amount of narcissistic amusement - defaces a few with a snicker. He doesn't keep it up for longer than a day, his attention span for such endeavours wearing fast.

*One from Wiltun is taken down by a mustached Mystran mage* He can be heard commenting, "So much for the academic portion of their 'organisation.' If they were not so depraved, this may actually be amusing..." |

//You know, i think that post was the reason won won put this up for reference: Quote: Cautionary; WonWon and Earylduil are different people. Just because Eary will find any excuse to humiliate you, does not mean I am some tyrant out to get you.
Quote: ...i personally dont see any reason to call people out over something that won won warned everyone that his char might do. |

// An interesting question is, that how is another player to know which parts of a fully IC poster should actually be considered OOC for whatever reason? With the help of a crystal ball, perhaps? Or purposeful metagaming, using OOC guesses about the author's intents to affect IC reactions? I guess the answer depends where an individual player draws the line between IC and OOC, how much they're willing to bend the borders. But, generally it is the responsibility of the speaker to make sure a message is clear and cannot be misunderstood in context. A message cannot rely on the receiver guessing the intent and content right. It's by no means an easy thing, mind. Communication is never an easy thing, and becomes ten times more difficult in an online, text-based environment. But things like this are learning matters. // Anyway, apologies for another OOC post, but I think this topic presents some very good food for thought, both in general sense and perhaps for similar situations in the future. // Carry on, ICly. |

When Silithia see's the poster she curses.... "What the!?!?! How -dare- they be here as well!!! Blasted Red Wizard's are everywhere; almost as bad as the Zhentarim!" She angrily tears the one down in Tarkuul, but rather than throwing it in the bin, she writes a letter and sends it in a package, across the sea. After a while, she calms down. "No wonder Horgar gave ample warning, all the competition are here... I'm surprised they bothered posting in Tarkuul...strange that I've never seen a Red Wizard set foot here since I arrived....must be using non-Red Wizard agents to post here...hmm..." With that she goes off, thinking some more... |

//I'd ask you to read Nekhy's post again, Tal. This was in no way OOCly personal. Either way, locked for you. |
