*the following notes are placed up in prominent areas around most of the surface regions of the isle*

I, Jud'Vardas Kenlyl, am putting up for auction an item of such power not seen for many a year upon this isle. The item in question is one of the legendary Darkwood Sniper Bows! These bows are so rare now that they were only found in the lairs of dire beasts now long dead. After much consideration, I have decided to part with this legendary item of ancient legacy. It possesses an aiming enchantment of the sixth tier, a striking enchantment of the seventh tier, and, upon impacting a vulnerable area, it's arrows strike far deeper than normal into vital organs.

Bidding on this item, to promote vigorous competition, will start at 1 million gold pieces. I will accept trades for it, as well as gold. But trades will be considered only of the rarest items. Those interested may leave a note at Griff's Nomad in Cordor, the Shrine of Eilistraee, the Hin Inn, or the Noway Inn, or post them below this notice. This auction shall run for one tenday.

Reh'Cra pauses briefly infront of the notice and ponders quietly. Then pats his bow and walks away, murmuring. "Don't worry, Betty. Wouldn't trade you for the world."

Ailahra very nearly falls over when she sees this notice. She can be heard muttering in a rather unladylike manner as she looks at her stock of gold and glares daggers at Prescia's written name.

Weston nails in a letter at the bidding post in Griffs.

"Eight-million and one gold. I want to talk with you Jud'.

Markus teh half elf also reads the notices, and eyes widen at the latest bids before they narrow dangerously, and he makes a tirade of curses before muttering: "Bloody moneysoaked basterds. I bet the twats dont even need the damn bow. May the earth swallow the stinkin' rich basterds."

*one Aasimar, wearing the Dawnguards uniform passes, reads the auction, than talks to himself*

"15 000 000 gold pieces? I cannot even imagine how many hungry and poor children and people could be saved..."

Even Calia, immensely heavy with child now, stops and stares at the ads, muttering about "damn timing and me taking up my sword again"...

Ly'thiel's eyes widen as he looks over the notices.

"Hm. Maybe I should sell my bow... If Jud's is getting this much, I'd make at least 120 million..."

He strokes the beautiful Deepwood Sniper bow and grins to himself.

"...Nah."

Ailahra pauses as she looks at the notice now, then tilts her head a little.

"All right, this is getting ridiculous. That bow is not worth that much gold." She glances down at her own bow, comparing it to the listed specificationsin Jud's original note. She then chuckles, lifting it to rest her hand on along the smooth, dark wood. "You're better by far, Tyelka-Sul. I may have paid a few million for another alternative, but this one's not worth it." She glances back up at the notice and trails her eyes down to Eary's bid of the Sharran cloak, then frowns slightly and turns away.

Another individual chimes in with the debacle in front of one of these posters, as he notices the amounts of coin being offered up. One eyebrow raising up high as his gaze moves over the offers.

"Some people offer up the most insane amounts and items, for some use ful to so few."

He writes a quick notice underneath at the bottom.

Dear seller of the magnificent bow,

Perhaps you ought to consider passing it on for free, to someone who actually wants it, rather than sell it for a massive profit only for it to be lost in the hoard of a collector's gathered artifacts.

*In the cold reaches of Howness, a green haired witch smirks, seemingly content with the information gathered.*

This sign vanishes for about an hour after a lad in a grey jacket and red shirt sees there is a new highest bidding.

Using his same method as before at a librabry desk so he simply appears to be reading scraps of spells, he forges a new notice using his scribe training. (Scribe rank 2)

Resulting is a freshly placed bid:

Belladonna on one of her rare trips to civilisation sees the notice and begins to burst out laughing. SHe laughs until she rolls about on the floor and tears come to her eyes.

When she finally gets a hold on herself again she reaches over behind her shoulder to lovingly stroke the wood of her own dear shortbow.
