I'll trade you a stalk of wheat! It's thicker than a blade of grass, so you still might be able to hide behind it. With this, you should have no problem vanishing in plain sight like you used to. Just remember to tie your ears back, because a stalk of wheat with seemingly two pointy ears on it just looks funny.
