The Reciprocal Antiphonal Spellcasting Method

Better known as simply "Counterspelling" this method of Weaving is one of the single-most useful methods of spellcasting to learn and perfect. A union of conscious knowledge and intuitive reaction, it lends itself to both reactive and proactive, aggressive and defensive methods with equal efficiency. The research and thesis developed from the exploration of this casting method will be presented in the form of a class for all interested members of the Mystran Monolith to attend.

This is the third of a series of four classes designed to familiarize oneself with the practical aspects and theory of spell reciprocation. Attendance of the previous classes is recommended but not mandatory.

• Overview •
Participants will be familiarized with the esoteric and less well known principles and theory of what counterspelling is and how to effectively use it at advanced levels. This course is designed to expound upon advanced knowledge of spell reciprocation. More knowledgeable students are encouraged to help less experienced students in preparation for live casting practice and techniques as well as discussion of theory and practice of spell reciprocation both before and after the class.

This course is open to all Arcanists who can cast from the fourth circle of spells or greater, but guests must be authorized to attend with instructor permission obtained prior to the beginning of the class.
