A reply is tacked up underneath one of the ones in Amia forest, Wharftown and even Underport gets a few of them. They are left unsigned, though posted at human height.

Oh, Darthy, you're supposed to throw it away after you wipe your arse, not hang it up!

A few notes are discreetly attached to these posters from time to time.

"Fear is a trap. Obediance through fear is not peace. Through Bane, no person can be free."

A Werewolf, accompanied by two dire wolves, is seen taking any it sees, in the Amia Forest, down. Surely, as stated, "they are quickly replaced", but the notes continuously go up and come down.

Katsumi directs her efreet and hands it a stack of posters. That should keep the werewolf busy and away from /actual/ duties for the better part of a week.

*The green haired witch, on one of her visits to the forest, witnesses an amusing spectacle where a werewolf and an efreet are engaged in a tearing down and putting up contest. She walks away giggling to herself.*

Any posters missed in the forest are clawed down, and slashed into bits by the apparent work of some large predatory animal. It works with efficiency, never staying for long, and always slipping back into the shadows and out of view.

Later in the underbrush watching, Nawien watches as posters are brought in noting the location, and the participants. Taking mental notes of their clothing, body types, and features for her patrol reports. She waits until they leave, and crawls out from her hiding place, shrinking and elongating, fur covering flesh, and attends to the new posters.

"If they mean to win this by attrition, they are surely more foolish than I predicted..". The wolf thinks as it rends another from a tree, slipping back into the underbrush.

Its wednesday, almost sunset. Bill Johnsson walks around the Dale and spots one of the posters.

-"What on earth? What is this?"

He reads thought the annonucement, and ponders, thinking a while before speaking aloud to himself. (And to any who might be in range to hear him)

-"I know the dogma of Cyric. It's brutal, it only benefits the strong, and not the weak. It's an unfair dogma, and a unfair demigod. Thats the overall attitude from the isle. I wonder if they have changed? Would an entire church change?"

He looks at the poster, thinking. He knows that there must be an agent of Bane around, for he have seen the posters refresh themselves as soon as they're stripped down. He remembers with amusement the threatment they were given in Amia forest, close to the groove, and the frustration the forest-dwellers were about having to constaltly rip them down.

-"I know theres at least one of you listening to me!"
He said aloud.
-"Let it be known that if you truly desire to change, then do so. But do not spread false propaganda. Keep the oath you've written in such fancy letters, and maybe, you do not need to be burned for heresy. And maybe you would be one step closer to redemption, to repent from your sins! Walk out of the shadow and enter the light. Let yourself be cleansed... in righteous FIRE!"

He strides away, his cloak moving softly in the still breeze.

The sun shines one last time before dissapearing for the night behind the treetops.

Night has come

*one of his Taken brings Frey the document, it holds the poster in its hands. After a moment a green flame, starting directly =on= Darthion's name, radiating outwards until the entire document is consumed by the green vengance and fury*

Too little, too late. Already, they have lost one great General in their war, and now, another rises to join the Lost General, of Old, and of their Ways, yet Mine long before.

Fear the return of a true Imperceptor, only not burdoned and restricted by the idiocies and weakness of the clergy of Bane on these Isles, but rampant and unchecked, heeding only mine call.

*Small notices are found attached to a notice or two in Underport, Wharftown, Wiltun, Uhm and Zanshibon by a shady individual under the guise of a Greater Invisibility spell.
The Church of Bane should direct it's efforts to something more productive - such as the prevention of the Drowplague spreading to surfacers.

Word eventually reaches Darthion that the residents and frequent visitors of Amia Forest have been persistent in sabotaging the posters, often through grim methods.

In his response, he simply states:

"Perhaps the treehuggers have forgotten what I am, and what I can do. Perhaps the treehuggers need to be reminded."

Once again, the red-headed priestess can be seen handing out stacks of the posters; some "reclaimed" that she's torn down in the past.

She makes sure to direct the Efreet to paper Tarkuul liberally; after all, she can be heard reasoning...

Learning never stops. And we must do all we can to promote learning, mustn't we? 'Twould be a real shame if this information weren't available to all.

After all, someone needs to show those poor misguided souls the real way.

*you could hear a man with the symbol of Cyric laughing at the posters*

This is so pathetic! It actually amuses me. Their god is so weak and unheard that they have to display posters.

*laughs some more*

The Werewolf's efforts in to taking down the posters quickly decrees, spending it's time doing more productive things. Though it still rips down one or two, here and there, as it travels through the whole of the forest.

Dmitria looks at one of these notices and seems deeply thoughtful.

~I make no ill mistake, Bane is to many evil, and yet he represents Order. This I do not have a problem with. The lies of the current leadership are not reflective of the truth, and yet such is nescessary. I do not think however, this will have much effect. ~

*A poster in Caraigh is placed in a more noticeable and prominent location than before, right near the sign and crystal in Finnags Pass. The poster has had but a single word added to it in the bottom corner, largely and prominently printed in a crude hand.

In the middle of placing a sign on the wall, three skeletal arms reach from beneath the sands and drag the Efreeti under. It does not come back up. Future creatures bearing the posters that attempt to put up more than one poster, or even a single poster in a timespan longer than once every tenday are treated the same. Including Player Characters. The message is clear: Say it, don't spray it.

*Reiley Mortefeign has to look around in the garbage for these posters. When he find one, he exclaims, for anyone to hear,*

This poem reminds me of a little old rhyme by my gran-mum. Only, she's dead. An' you went from Rags to Riches, Riches ter Rags.

Upon finding the posters, N'aer decides one would make good target practice. Taking out her crossbow, she fired a couple of bolts into it before walking away back towards the Shrine of Eilistraee.

Near Bendir dale, an individual who had been seen hanging banite posters, can be seen walking away form the area. A handful of posters are still in his possesion but his clothing and undergarments are in dissarray after being the subject of a Bigby's Hand of the Superior Wedgie spell. He looks as if he may be seeking another line of work or at the least asking for more pay. A gnome can be heard to shout after:

Next time it's the Water Elemental Swirlie for you!

The gnome chuckles to himself and makes himself invisible and creates an illusion to confuse the next person to attempt raising a poster of Bane too near Bendir.
