| Post subject: | A Message for the Faithful of the Vaunted |
In the temple of Velsharoon, the ruins outside the Manor of Mourn, the graveyards and crypts around Amia, Forrstakkr, the Nes'ek Desert, Wiltun and it's neighbouring islands, even in the Alamber Sea where the many shipwrecks are found can messages chiseled on what appears to be gravestones be found. The gravestones also carry depictions resembling the dead, the dying and the undead with a crowned, laughing lich skull in a solid black hexagon at the top of every gravestone. The messages on these gravestones read: "Those who follow the Vaunted, the Lich-Lord, the Archmage of Necromancy, Lord of the Forsaken Crypt heed this call. For too long have the faithfull of the Vaunted been wandering these lands alone or in different cabals, separated from their fellow brothers and sisters in faith. Now the time has come for those loyal to the Vaunted, now is the time for His followers to gather so that we can become strong, too further our knowledge of life, death and the undead. By doing so, the Vaunteds power will grow and so will our power. For knowledge is power. Those who oppose our research will no longer be able to stand against us. They will perish and join our armies of the undead so that we can continue our research and our gathering of knowledge, for so is the will of the Vaunted. Be patient and await the signs which shall guide the faithfull to the place where the gathering will be held. It will not be long untill we can embrace our brothers and sisters in faith and unite in our common goal, to further our knowledge and power so that we may better serve the Vaunted." |

Zetsumei, during one of her regular trips to the Benwick Graveyard, comes across one of these gravestones. Upon seeing the symbol, she looks around cautiously before reading it to herself. Calmly, she looks around once more, picks the gravestone up, holding it to her side with one hand, which would likely cause her minimal trouble, with her impressive natural 24 strength. She pulls out her portal wand with the other hand and ports out to Nes'ek where she enters the Temple of the Martyr Saint, handing it to a Knight-Templar. |

*The first Triadic Knight and Kohlingen patrol would remove the gravestones from the Benwick Hollow and the other graveyards around Kohlingen, they would place a few posters in these areas.* "Let it be known, that the Church of Velsharoon is not tolerated on North Amia. If you will try defile our holy grounds then you will be killed on sight." First Knight Yaston Sylgerand |

Passing through Wiltun to the docks, Ulrik spies the grave markers. Curious, he takes a few steps closer to the cemetery to be able to see the inscriptions. Frowning deeply as he reads, his hand comes to rest over the Mystran symbol on his cloak-clasp, his head shaking slightly. He lingers a moment, as if committing the words inscribed to memory, before bringing the new inscriptions to the attention of one of Wiltun's guards and continuing on his way. |

Having already taken notice of the inscriptions upon the grave stones, despite the regular guard reports stating the presence of these writings, Avadon sets out a sign next to the Wiltun graveyard. To any servants of the "Vaunted", Take your studies elsewhere and leave the honored dead of the Wiltun Jarldom to rest in peace. We do not want your troubles or your kind. ~Sir Avadon of Wiltun |

*as Cáedere wanders the land, going about his cause, and showing those worthy the true path he stubles upon the writings about velsharoon and reads in silent* "the time has come...we shall raise!, and the knowledge we gain shall let all know, the Vaunted will not just stand by...." * Cáedere kneels and gives out a silent prayer to his his god as the area feels more desecrated. after which he stands and summons forth his most powerful undead minion* "witness the beginning my minion..." *he then chants and through his divine ways, and creates a storm of vengeance over the area, yet protecting him and his minion. the acid wares away at some of the tombstone and crypts as the thunder bolt obliterate some others. the dark man and his undead entourage walk away with a chilling and dark laugh create a dark ominous through the storm* |

Her crimson eyes gaze at the gravestone and the message is read. She is thoughtful for a moment before collecting a gravestone and placing it in a bag. She then leaves the area through a portal. Once in her workshop she directs a servant to take the gravestone and place it upon a table. “Let us see what we have found.” She then begins to cast detect magic upon it. Once done with the spell she directs a servant to bring her hot chocolate. “This may take awhile.” She says with a smile, her breath forming a mist as she speaks. |

Goril examines a newly deceased local resident of Wiltun, he has moved to the burial ground. As he drops the lifeless body to the ground, a symbol he reckons catches his attention. After taking a seat on the chest of the dead man he was about to bury, he reads the inscription carefully, taking every detail into account. "It has begun" he mutters in a deep, approving voice. He grabs the carcass with a sly smile and whispers: "You might come in handy, my cold friend", before dragging him into a portal, leaving an empty grave behind. The last gaze goes to the symbol of Velsharoon, carved on the tombstone, illuminated by the fading moonlight.. "It has begun". An eerie chuckle diminishes as he is transported to a hidden place. |

*Frey, sitting in the Room of Experiments in the Temple to the Vaunted, sits contemplating the inscriptions and their message. Turning to Galduil, the lich speaks, its voice seemingly coming from far far away, yet close-by, echoing in the confined place none-the-less* "Hrmm, it seems the Vaunted is active once again. This reminds mineself of the time when mineself was chosen to raise the Living City of Tarkuul by an avatar of Velsharoon. After all that has happened, recently, Galduil.. it makes me ponder... what would be if... " "If, Master?" Galduil would question "Banes clergy is, and always has been , weak. The treachery of Gurth, then Darthion, now Katsumi. They are not e'en worthy of his name, yet Bane does nothing to correct this. In fact, if one can place any truth in the current Imperceptors words, Bane cares little, if at all, for this 'little corner of the world'. Interesting, coming from the God of Fear and Tyranny. Seems more like Cyric, than Bane, in his clergy here. Yet, twice now, in mine lifetime, hath the Vaunted brought that into mine prior life, and now existance, proving its interest in this land, providing a location for those who follow him, and finally, expressing a desire to unify his followers. Perhaps.. perhaps it is time for a change." Galduil's right eyebrow would rise at this, for he had always remembered his Masters never-ending devotion to whatever God he worshipped, but before Bane, there had been only one other.. Velsharoon. Could the cycle be coming full circle, and the prophecy true? He looked at the lich as its single points of light in each empty eyesocket - save the reddish yellow flames pouring out of them - moved back towards the table on which one of the tombstones with the message did sit. Frey's gauntleted hand touched the tombstone, revently, almost. "The Vaunted...calling upon his faithful.." an echoing whisper could be heard |

In the more secluded graveyards away from the most populated areas of Amia and the surrounding islands more gravestones are appearing with the same inscriptions as before, but with one added sentance in the end. It reads: "Seek out the Necromaster" Infront of these new gravestones one might notice how someone has been digging in the earth. |

Another gravestone appears before Velsharoons idol with the same depictions of the dead, the dying and the undead aswell with the symbol of Velsharoon at the top of the gravestone just like the others which has been appearing in the graveyards around Amia. The message chisseled on this one is different however, it reads: "Faithfull of the Vaunted, do not heed the words of the unfaithfull for they do not understand our purpose and our goals, their words are empty and deceitfull. If they wish to become one of the faithfull they must prove that they are worthy first, not try to sway the followers of the Vaunted into their service. Seek out those whom already have proven their faith to the Vaunted. Seek out the Necromaster, brothers and sisters, recive the signs for the gathering where we of the Vaunted will unite in our faith, only then will we become strong, to better serve the Vaunted. For that is the will of the Vaunted" |
