| Post subject: | [Surface Cities] In the Name of the Binder! |
Notices are posted all around Amia, Khem and Ruathym: Cordor library, Kohlingen keep, Mystra's Monolith, the Mythal Forge in Wiltun, the Loremaster's Sanctum and Leage of Travellers, the Nes'ek notice board, to name a few places. "Servants of Knowledge, At the Dawn of Time there was Light and Dark, and earth. Then the Binder of What is Known came and gave it shape, purpose. He gave names to ideas, and the ideas gave form to raw matter. Similarly, it is time to give shape to the matter that is the local spiritual life. I call upon all loremasters, seekers and laymen of Oghma, as well as servants of Deneir, Milil, Gond, Mystra, Azuth and other civilized deities who feel that the Binder deserves our worship to join me in organizing the Orthodox Church of Oghma on Amia, Khem, Ruathym and the northern islands. I welcome scholars, mages, bards, monks, teachers, students, artists, treasure seekers, adventurers, everyone. I wish to create more than just a religious community: a society of scholarship, wisdom, inspiration and friendship that transcends the borders of Oghma's person and appreciates the ideas that the Lord of Knowledge represents. There will be no discrimination of the civilized races, and affiliation with political, military or other religious factios is not a problem to our church. I am Joon of the Binder, a humble priest who seeks the like-minded to join him in making a dream come true, join him to acheive great things by means other than just the sword. Please, contact me in Nes'ek or Cordor, if you are inspired by this summons. I call everyone to a meeting at the end of this tenday, in Cordor library. Other meetings can be arranged, whenever such are desired. By the Grace of the Great Namer, Loremaster Amanuensis Joon of the Orthodox Church of Oghma." ((SUNDAY the 16th. Time up for discussion. See General Discussion topic.)) |
