The body of a Banite (Zach Orion for those who would recognize him) is found on the same stake that holds the bloated coprse of a lizard men, face up.
He is stripped, his possesions piled underneath, his joints have all been smashed with some large heavy bludgeoning instrument, the limps now hanging loosely. On the mans bare chest are are 4 animal prints. (large boar if anyone would recognize stamped on blood)
His spine is also snapped at the base as if roughly folded in half to fit in a small object perhaps?
His had being about the only thing undamage, it is shaven, his forearm seeming depressed and if one would check the back of his skull too with an image, one might have trouble deciphering.
A large silver coin is found if he mouth is force open, otherwise cannot be seen. The face of the coin is 2 heads facing in opposite directions, the back is 3 lightning bolts with the inscription,
“Vengeance is His, justice is paid!”
The pictures oddly match the dents on his head and base of his skull also made my a heavy object 'stenciling' them.
Their are no tracks whatsoever, and nobody would have seen this being done. The body is watched until sunrise until the man who left it leaves his position and resumes his day.

*Xal, wandering around very bored, notices the corpse, takes the body from the stake, reads the raise dead scroll, and leaves a heal potion in the bodies hand, and dumps the body into a portal to Cordor. He walks off content that he is on his way to redemption.*

A red-skinned figure, dressed in dark silver armor sees the freshly raised, yet still very battered, and unconcious corpse. He picks him up into his arms with the gentleness atributed only to a true brother. He takes him to a secret place, known only to the two of them, there to heal him, and determine what happened.
