Since I arrived on these islands, I have found myself amongst many folk of many kinds, but few of my fellow gnomes.

Are you amongst the forgotten folk? A Cousin from the forests or the world below?

If so, I would like to meet you. I have grown lonely in my old age and am keen to get to know as many of you as I might before the Lords take me. If you too are eager to be amongst your own kind for a time, to share a tale or a prank, or even to converse freely in our own tongue, please send notice to the Speedy service in Cordor so that I might seek you out.

Attached to a single public noticeboard - at the perfectly reasonable height of around 3 feet from the ground - in each of the followng settlements: Cordor, Bendir Dale, Kampo's Storehouse, Guldorand, Wharftown, Uhm, Kohlingen, Barak Runedar, Wiltun, and Howness; is an open letter, written entirely in the Gnomish language Quote: Since I arrived on these islands, I have found myself amongst many folk of many kinds, but few of my fellow gnomes. A letter written in fine Gnomish is left to Bendir Dale as a response. Why yes, my young Kinswoman, many of us have made their homes here. I can be found from Bendir Dale, although I take a lovely wee walk to Cordor every Sunday. Perhaps we ought to meet, gnome-dosed pints before us! With warmest of regards, Onslow Gallwicket

An elderly gnomish woman in a tatty old apron and a young gnomish man in a fetching red trenchcoat have been seen chatting for a time in the Tower of Mystra. Speaking in a foriegn tongue that seemed to confuse all present bar the shopkeeper, Friarry, they seemed to get along well. The woman left with a spring in her step Some time later, the same woman was seen approaching a dashing gnome wearing an outrageous Pink and Green outfit, outside the Inn in Howness. The conversation lasted but a short while, before the male walked away with a tear in his eye. The same woman has also been spotted in Bendir Dale on several occasions, asking for "Onslow Gallwicket". As yet her attempts to meet this fellow have been fruitless, but she seems relatively determined and will no doubt return. In other news, some of the notices that have been blown away are replaced on the various noticeboards of the surface world, again, 3 feet from the ground
