Weston walks about Cliff Village and some of the surrounding area with his beloved Edonil, describing to her the scenery and cliffs making many steps down to the waters. And returning later, he speaks with some of the villagers for their thoughts to get more a feel of the town. Or, Hamlet, he is told it is.
Without a strong sense of any "leader" being there, he makes up mind to scibe in long hand a poster to place up on a wall [which he did ask permission to do, the locals were rather kind] and leave for them all to see.
"Friends in Cliff Village,
I had the delightful opportunity to speak with a few of you, and look forward to many more visits as I find your hamlet grows on me.
It comes to my understanding that you do not have an appointed representative, so I reach out to speak with all those interested in a gathering if I may.
My to-be wife and I seek out a place to settle and make of home. I would ask an opportunity to gather together and discuss the potential of settling as part of residents to Cliff Village. It would be rude to simply assume ourselves welcome, after all.

There is also a small p.s. mentioning that if there is a better time to gather, that it simply need posted. Otherwise he looks forward to a chance to visit and call the gathering a in week or two once time provides it.
