A few flyers are distributed around Cordor's walls with the following.

To the residents and denizens of Cordor,

I, Christophan Warrick of House Kenlyl call upon your aid to help me with the South Cordor Reconstruction Project.

There are many things as yet still needed for this project, ranging from fiscal and physical building resources to information and opinions about what can be done in the South to beautify it and make Johnathin Leohnard's dream into a reality.

As best I can, I will avail myself to speak with any whom wish to offer opinions and thoughts, though alternatively you may send me a letter and I shall reply as swiftly as possible.

I understand his dream, and having lived in the South I can see some of what it must take to accomplish this dream. However, I cannot do it alone. I need the Common Will of the people of Cordor, the Common Mind, and the dedication of like minded hearts to see this through.

If you can donate time to assist in the gathering of resources needed to build or in some cases rebuild, it would be most appreciated.

If you can donate funds for this end, that would be most appreciated. I already have the auction for a Perfect Mythal ongoing, and if you cannot donate funds directly but possess an item of the kind of rarity that may fetch coin amongst those who would be interested in it, a donation of such kind would be acceptable.

If you can offer me an opinion, a perception, something to help show me an element I might not see in the needs of South Cordor's reconstruction, please do not hesitate to do so. Though I am an employee of the city, I am also a citizen and I would not wish to alienate my fellow citizens, especially those of Southern Cordor by carrying this project forward in a way they would not have of me.

Common in our Wealth!
Common in our Virtue!
Common in our Future!

Bursar Christophan Warrick of House Kenlyl

POTENTIAL DONORS BEWARE!

Bursar Warrick has in the past taken materials in the name of South Cordor reconstruction, and instead given them to be used on Xaviera's temple!

Bursar Warrick takes goods from the children of South Cordor and gives them to the privately wealthy to be used on their lavish temples!

Look at the faces of the South Cordorian children who were denied the aid others gave!

DON'T HELP THOSE WHO ROB THE POOR TO GIVE TO THE RICH!

Give your coin and materials DIRECTLY to the Cordorian government and NOT to Bursar Warrick!

The bear shouldered Touranemhet merely shrugs as he glances at the warning notice. He then tacks up his own notices on a few of the slandered notices.

Only cowards and weaklings under the domination of the foul minions of Darkness make notices as such without signing their own names

A prompt notice in reply is placed up with these.

It is true that I had been requested as Bursar to facilitate the process of gathering the Temple of Love by providing storage services for building materials. Nonetheless, I have kept a seperate and open track of any donations gathered for the South Cordor Reconstruction Project in funding.

However, now that the process for gathering resources for the Temple of Love project is by in large complete my ability to focus on the South Cordor project is near absolute.

It is my intention to find the identity of this anonymous individual with which to personally address the grievance face-to-face if they are so inclined.

Additionally I clarify, my efforts to gather funds for South Cordor began first, and after I had been approached by Citizen Xuider-Xee to carry out duties as a Bursar. As she is a Cordorian interest and her work benefiting Cordor, I could see no legitimate reason to refuse, nor had the fact I was such been concealed.

Daniel reads the notice and nods approvingly. When his eyes catch the warning, he blinks a few times and rubs the back of his neck, then sighs.

"Bring me proof and I might believe you, cowardling." The cursed dragon said, in draconic. "And people expect us to believe when they are not even man (or woman) enough to sign a name."

He chuckles at the coincidence when he reads Khopesh's words.

Oh, well, at least the cowardling did not imply the Eilistraeens. He thinks when he sees that Warrick signed with his full name.

//Darn, you posted when I was writing, Gry. *shakes fists*

Weston catches sight of the notices and seeing the warnings, goes out of his way to find a fanciful blue ink that would stand out when written directly over the red-lettered warnings.

"I, Weston Carter of Salandra, would testify to the VIRTUE of good Warrick. I also stake that there is no man better to uphold the dream left by Johnathin Leohnard, for there is no man like Warrick who carries the same care and compassion for the people. I, whom grew up in the orphanage of Cordor, remember the depravity that was forced upon the citizens. I put on wager, by honor of my name, that nobody could bribe or coerce good Warrick to go against his own VIRTUE. VIRTUE be the word, and VIRTUE be the man who was chosen by the Commonwealth's trust."

He only signs the full message over a warning about the middle of Cordor South where the most eyes would see it. All other warning posters say only "VIRTUE be the good man Warrick." Although a few warning posters are also untouched being that Weston has only enough time to spare the more main-street postings.

Karl who during one of his travels to Cordor sees the warning and shakes his head muttering to himself.

Well that leaves out ever donating something around these parts.

((EDIT to ADD)) The following note is written in one of the new, clean notices.

I wish to donate 100,000 Cordorian Crowns to help the reconstruction.

If need be, I can be found at the house by Ralten's Retreat Inn at Endir's Point.

One of south Cordor's working girls draws Xaviera's attention to the red-inked notices, causing her to clench her fists and glare at the offending paper as if willing it to burst into flames.

After performing her routine casting of cure disease on the girl and leaving her some extra coin and toilettries, she stalks off to visit Renee Flowers at the office of Sympathy for South Cordor.

She requests Renee's help to counter this unfounded accusation, pointing out that she has contracted individually with the Bursar to obtain materials for her temple separately from the Renovation Project, has posted public notices requesting delivery of said materials to Warrick, and has paid more than guild scale for anything received. She also notes that her receipts and accounting are on file in the Commonwealth Centre and that nobody has had any objections whatsoever.

She sighs and takes a cookie from the plate offered by Renee, explaining that she has come to talk to her friend because she doesnt wish to apply any more posters to the walls of south Cordor's homes if it is not absolutely necessary.

She will make the same comments to anyone who happens to ask about the slanderous posters.

"Oh, Xaviera, nobody who lives in the South really believes that stuff," Renee gives a soft smile, waving her hand at Xaviera's overwhelming concern about the propaganda surrounding Christophan's request. "This is something that benefits them, so they're behind it one hundred percent. And even if there are a few who don't trust Clerk Warrick because they think he used to be an adventurer, they at least trust that the Commonwealth government is going to be double and triple-checking everything over his shoulder anyway."

Meursault laughs, taking a draw from the waterpipe. Choking back the smoke, he wheezes. "That's what you've been telling them, anyway, heeeeeehhh...."

Renee laughs. "Only because it is true. The adventurers can think what they want to, Xaviera, but the people are behind this. This is the one big thing they've all been waiting for ever since...the Duke left..."

She casts down her eyes. And the rest of the Sympathetics from Sympathy for South Cordor grow quiet.
