*A series of letters sent out to many people who have expressed interest in the Lords of War, it is sent out indiscriminately -just like how the Lords of War hires its employees- to whomever requests it. Decide for yourself if you receive it.*

The Lords of War would like to share news of its first contract, signed with the City of Underport, to provide aid, assistance and support to the local guards and city government, in this time of crisis, as the plague spills out of control. We shall endeavor to protect the vital trade interests of that city, and ensure that the plague does not get underfoot in your day to day activities.

We will ask for your gentle cooperation with us, as we strive to protect you and your friends, families and companions from infection. Force will only be used sparingly against the insane, demented, or openly hostile. No trade shall be disrupted, nor mercantile duties impeded.

The Lords of War welcomes outside assistance from concerned priests, physicians and healers, and will work together with people trained to combat the spreading plague. The Lords of War also extends an open hand towards the Salandran Temple, to allow permission for us to send plague victims to the Temple grounds where they can be properly cared for, and for possible use of a Salandran ship for the transportation of said plague victims.

Please do not antagonize the professionals we provide in the course of their duties. We will not flinch from eliminating troublemakers who seek to break quarantine procedures.

We will not allow the plague to spread to the biggest major trade hub after Cordor City.

To those who are especially cautious of plague, we recommend a full, waxed leather bodysuit, gloves, and mask. For those with the coinage, we recommend a water breathing ring, and a breathing tube with a canister of water to go with it. Eye protection may also be used.

However, note that to all indications, the plague is only spread through blood, sweat, seminal fluid, and other bodily products, and therefore the above measures are not necessary, except for gloves, and the covering of bare skin.

Letters like these are posted in the caverns adjacent and above the actual port itself because there is no way the Illithids would let them be posted in the port itself.

Keep ye stinkin' surface noses out of the only bastion of peace we got down 'ere. If I see a single surfacer stickin' their beak into the Underport buisness I shall personaly make sure it's the last thing ye do.

The only reason they're here is because the people LEADING UNDERPORT want them there. To disagree with that is to disagree with the illithid leadership of the port. Are you attempting to rebel against the illithids? If not, cease your moronic complaints and allow them to do their job, as the Port's LEADERSHIP has requested they do.

A notice is left with those of the other true races of the dark. As well it can be found in ultrinnan, and various parts of the underdark such as the ruins of the former Drow City of Udos

For to long we have stood idly by as the Rivvil scum come into our homes and think to "change". For to long have we allowed these fools to traverse in our regions. Now we are to accept a Mercenary group filled with the scum?

Now before ever is it needed to rise up and claim what is ours. I hereby announce, a reward of Fifty thousand Gold coins for the head of any of these supposed scum, Two Hundred for its leader. The leader of this group is asked to be brought preferably alive to us, but if not, dead can be worked out as well.

Furthermore I call for a Outright Boycott of this port. The prices, we might stomach. TO walk in and have the possibilities of some surface bastards tell us how we act in our own homes, this cannot stand.
