Dear Brothers and Sisters, Worshipers of Eilistraee,

I am here to invite you all for a festivity in name of our beloved Goddess. The festival is called a Run and brings all Eilistraeen together to Celebrate and to learn from other cultures and races.

We will meet at the Shrine where the non Drow will paint the bodies and hair in semblance with our beloved Eilistraee, where we will sing songs of joy and then depart to Winya where we will offer our help to Elves and learn from them new songs and costumes. Then after we feast with them we will bring our joy to Bendir Dale and help them with what they need and feast with them. The Celebration will end at the Shrine where all the people visited and Eilistraeens will party happily in name of our might Goddess.

Join us and lets bring joy and music to this land!!!

//The preliminary date is Tuesday, at 5PM CST, 6PM Eastern US, 10 PM GMT. - If I converted it right :P

*Teshar's mouth flops open in disbelief seeing the announcement*

Th... the fools are bringing a group of dhaerow and.... others PAINTED as dhaerow to WINYA just cycles after the guard was attacked by a group of dhaerow? Have they gone mad?! As soon as the guard sees them coming over the hill they'll likely be fired upon!

Amareth sees the notice and shakes her head as she heads to the temple of winya to go to pray, muttering to herself as she does so.

"The dhearow do not belong anywhere near the lands of Winya. The drow have raided our town many times, they do not deserve to be anywhere near our land. If the dhearow think they can come to my home, they have another thing coming."

A lone male slips in through the night to come across one of these posters amongst his scouting. He chuckles to himself and takes the poster, slipping it into a pouch. "Oh i wonder if i could learn the ways of the whore myself, and dance like a giddy fool in the moonlight" Snorting in laughter to himself he quickly retreats back to the caverns.

Warrick gets a note of this and looks.

~Given the attitudes of the Elves.. there's a great deal of risk in going so close to Winyan borders. I hope Matron Kenlyl's spoken with them in advance. ~

An anonymous note is left near one of the posters.

“Deter your course from reaching into elven lands, it would be best for you, it would be best for us all”

Those who have seen much of Neliel's handwriting would probably be able to tell it's hers.

*The Priestess of Eilistraee, Elvra Quavein reads the note and quirks her eyebrow*

That isn't what I expected from Elves. In the end my Goddess is an old ally of the Seldarine and it is a celebration of joy. Honestly what is so bad in that? I think they lost their ways if they are killing friendly Drow without a good reason.

And then, it is said in the Shrine that we have an aliance, a peace treat, what is up with that?

*she shakes her head and sighs thinking on how to fix it all and make a celebration still worthy of Eilistraee*

Tu'jol reads one of the notes in Cordor and has a look of worry but doesn't say anything out loud. She then walks out of Cordor, on to a cart headed North.

A simple note left and the signer can be seen walking away shaking his head in disbelief.

Do you all forget what the Goddess Eilistraee did for the city of Winya at the city's time of need?

An elaborate note written upon fresh paper is posted near the Shrine entrance.

Regarding the general stir which resulted after the news received of "The Run",

The general agreement that such a celebration shouldn’t be allowed to manifest itself within myth Winya Ravana has nothing to do with Eilistraee or her dark elven faithful. Though some hold to their personal beliefs and misconceptions as well as personal-past-experiences-induced blind but psychologically justifiable hatred, it is not the option of the majority, or at least not that of they who have a say in all matters regarding the city, rightfully representing the will of those who had them chosen.

An agreement to receive a mass of individuals, some not even of the Shrine, offers ample opportunity for malevolent infiltration of the fair city and thus brings on the prospect of new assassinations, information leakage and devious plot basis. Whether or not the Eilistraeens would formally agree to take responsibility for their devout and friends’ behavior is irrelevant simply because such risks cannot be taken in name of satisfying the desire for (mostly) personal enjoyment.

Considering recent events that have affected myth Winya Ravana, events which resulted in the mortal loss of a number of guards hailing from the blessed Isle of Evermeet, to dhaerow hands and their foul but undeniable prowess at profiting from any possible opportunity to strike against Tel’Quessir, I personally would wish to see the practice of caution (for further such festivities initiations) and understanding in what regards this rejection.

Unofficially expressing the realities we dwell in,
~..Neliel Pearlum of Winya Ravana..~

A note in clumsy handwriting is nailed underneath the main notice.

I wish and trust in that you are considerate enough not to let any wee lads in; those rutty brats shouldn't see darkie paps nor arses prancing around their very eyes at early age.

A normally light-hearted human bard, in his usual bright dawn colors, simply gives a worried frown, and mutters softly to himself.

"That's not good."

Over the note left at the base of the hill at Kampo's infront of the Shrine, a series of odd markings would be found on the sign.

A closer inspection shows it is the image of a long, entangling serpent of some kind, wrapping around and through each letter, charred into the surface as if with a burning fingernail.

The tail of the serpent in ends in in a circle.

A "smiley" face, of all things...

*looks upon the notices and seems most delighted as well as excited by what she sees. Eyes shining with delight, she gathers up one and hurries home, an infant girl carried in a ...full plate bunting...attached to her chest with straps*

~Oh this could be perfectly marvelous! A Run? That sounds most delightful. Though ...perhaps a run along the roads from town to town would be better. Winya has had too many recent attacks...though it would be certainly eye-opening to have any fellow Quessir who wished to travel along with us join in. Perhaps a journey in the feet of another would be eye opening.~

*nods once to herself before tucking a strand of dark blue hair behind a faintly pointed ear and going to see about a hair dying appointment close to that day and time*

I would like to advise people from participating in any run or any other festivities. The drow from Ultrinnen have staged many raids in recent weeks, and I believe they are deliberately trying to spread the plague.

I have managed to defeat several such raid in the past few weeks, and though I have proven resilient against the disease, I am not confident that everyone else will.

I believe it is in the best interest of all that all festivals and large gatherings be avoided.

*As Angela reads the note she frowns*

For my research, I have the wounds of a diseased drow being touched by an half-elf, by a tiefling and by myself a human. I have personally cleaned and touched fluids of the body of a diseased person and as a human I have not come into contamination. Neither had the half elf that is helping me to take care of her friend and have certainly come in contact with the fluids of the sick woman.

I have reasons to believe that the sickness is something that emerges from the underdark itself. It contaminated the Wyrmlings that had contact with something there, and then the Drow. The sickness is natural. It isnt magical, it isnt poison, it isnt a curse. Because none of my detecting spells found any of such in it.

I highly doubt we have to be in panic because of this disease. It is highly selective. If I cannot find someone of another race showing the symptoms of the disease, I will myself insert the contaminated blood on my veins and see once for all if it will affect us all or not.

I wouldn't stop any festivities, and I would continue with my regular life. Healers that use the spell detect disease, will be able to detect it, even in the early stages, before the symptoms appear.

It also gives the Drow contaminated the ability to heal small cuts, small wounds to a limit. I have saw that with my own eyes. So, if you observe that you can regenerate yourself faster and you feel fatigued, please come and see me.

I would advise against all witch hunt against the diseased people. And I offer protection to those that are being threatened for having it. Ilmater teaches you to care and heal all that need healing, to reduce the pain of all that suffers and so I shall obey.

May He that Suffered and Knew Pain bless you,

Angela Eire,
Priestess of Ilmater

That was actually one of the reasons to stop the festivity. I don't want to risk any of the Shrine to have contact with a contaminated Drow. And also none of the Elves either. The Lady only knows what that Spiders Kissers got themselves into now.
