| Post subject: | Posters around Cordor - Cirque de Silence Auditions |
On various walls and boards around cordor can be seen posters with the following blurb:
Cirque de Silence is auditioning for three acting positions for the travelling performance troupe. If interested, please contact Caria Veritis." The poster ends with a drawing of a jester with a red cross over its mouth. ((Edit: replaced "Harlequin" with "Jester" to avoid association with the faction I made a few months after )) |

Re'en'a, making her way through Wharftown on her regular circuit to sing for the peoples outside of Cordor, spies several young men and women who have always shown promise with their own musical and dancing talents whispering back and forth frantically while pointing to a piece of parchment during one of her performances. Interested, she approaches the group afterward with a warm smile. Jaleera "Oh my stars, here she comes! Halston "Oh, hush, you're mooning over her again! It's embarrassing, really." Mikaelin "*smirks and chuckles* Jaleera "Shut it, the both of you." Elistrun "She simply -has- to be one of the members!" Re'en'a "Bright stars, my young friends. What seems to be the topic of the evening?" Jaleera literally fawns all over the elven bard, unable to speak. Halston "Oh, hullo, Miss Draugnosse. Just this." *he holds out the parchment* Re'en'a takes it and reads it over, arching a brow in curiosity. "Most intriguing. Can you tell me where you found this, lad?" Mikaelin grunts, pointing to the east. Elistrun "Cordor, missus, an' dun mind Mikaelin. He kent talk, ye ken? But ooh, ken 'e play the mandolin! Almost as good'n yersef!" Re'en'a chuckled and nods. "Well, keep up the practice, and remember to give Milil, the Songfather, his due praise for your good fortunes, eh? Next time I'm here, I'll give you lot a special performance all to your own, heyla?" *she smiled politely and returned the parchment to Halston before returning to the stage for another song. The quartet instantly burst into a flurry of whispers and pointings, obviously deciding on the when and where that show would be. Re'en'a's mind was focused on the parchment for the rest of the night, and she made a decision to seek out it's indicated owner the next time she had a chance. |

*A thoroughly intrigued looking Mirela taps her lower lip thoughtfully* "Sounds all well and good... but there's no mention of how much I'll be paid." *reagardless she tacks up a neat piece of parchment written on in flowing caligraphy below* "Mirela Emilian Harpist, Dancer, Actress" A contact address, one of the rooms in the nomad, is left below. |

A sour Miranda, just woken from a night of drinking herself silly, rubs her temples in a fruitless attempt to relieve her hangover as she reads the poster. She glances down to the sword tied to her hip and then to the sky before leaving, only to go to Speedy's to pen down a note she then sends to Caria. I could use a good challenge, give me a time and a place and I'll give you a mask. Miranda. She then wanders away and to the clothing shop, looking a little less wobbly. |
