Certain plain looking farmer with symbol of Chauntea on his cloak can be seen walking around North Cordor and outlying farms, putting up some signs and notices. Also, knowing that most farmers do not know to read, he moves from farmstead to farmstead, talking to farmers and asking if they need help of any kind. Those willing to stop and read notices can see this (including the symbol):
Quote:
Storms destroyed your crops? Goblins and kobolds burn your fields and kill your friends or dearest ones? "Problem solving" adventurers charging over your land, expecting hero worship without concern for any collateral damage they cause?
These are some of the daily risks in being a farmer in an area like Cordor. I know some of these because this is how i was born and raised.
I wont pretend to know all the problems you are facing right now - your life is different to mine, and we all have different experiences. But I am interested in listening, with time to dedicate and resources to help. Most importantly I can understand where you are coming from.
I still run my farm. Between doing that, I sold my soul to the adventuring career - but not entirely. I went into the adventurers life with a cause and a purpose, and I remember my roots.
So if any of your young boys want to learn to defend themselves, I can teach how its done without forcing them to leave home.
If you are harrassed then I will direct the resources I have acquired to convince that trouble maker makes amends - either inside the city by peacefully assisting the guard, or pursuing them beyond the bounds covered by city law.
If you need advice concerning crops or just a farm hand when things becoume rough - I'll be there to help.
My name is Aaron Harding. I'm a chauntean farmer, and a Cordor boy. I want to be here, for you.
Come find me on my farm.
