A young man is brought into the Cordorian Chapel of Lathander by a human-looking woman and a bizzarely clad half-orc with clawed feet. Accompanying them is a winged Aasimar and another, male, human, though they seem to be detached form the initial trio. The claim is that he is a traitor to the cause of the defence of Caraigh - a Dawnguard himself, who has been consorting with the antagonistic necromancers and delivering information to these, through a hell-hound familiar. He is subject to a Zone of Truth spell from the winged man, upon which he inexplicably falls and loses conciousness. Shortly after, he attempts to escape, revealing that the fall was faked, but is restrained and held there. They wish to submit his fate to higher ranking members of the church...

*Renais has been moving frequently between the front and Cordor, in her efforts to salvage the Dawnguard managerial situation. Coming back with Brother Loynis to discuss his new promotion, she would be swiftly on the scene if she were not already there doing planning work. [Her Distaste for doing so would be obvious right now].*
*Hearing this reported by the group entering the chapel, Loynis approaches the traitor with intent to tear off his tabard and badge. Renais raises her hand*
"Halt, brother Loynis, leave his uniform intact. We're in cordor now, so no man can be removed without his consent.
Yet as of this point, he is a Dawnguard. Which means that his now unconscious form clearly honours its commitment to accept the orders of his superiors. Unconscious man, do you disagree?"
~A moments silence passes~
"Right. Clearly he accepts my judgement... and will therefore accept my orders to be moved to Ne'Sek.
They dont tend to like me much there... but they also dont like men who deal with palemasters... and know how to deal with traitors who aid necromancers. Betraying the people of careigh to palemasters, demons, and necromancers . . . yes, he will be dealt with appropriately..
If you'd be so kind as to come with me and hand your witness reports to the EO we'll see if they want to burn him. If not, the Dawnguard will hold him in chains there until I tell Aylomen about this, and we will probably do it. For this kind of treachery, there is no forgiveness.
This one burns."
// OOC, who is it? PM me or post here, please. // Whoever the DG is, i expect a pm from you please as will Aylomen so we can set a date / time for the RP.

A badly written statement is submitted by Tarich: Well, we were there in Caraigh and there was an enemy familiar so I killed it. It was a hellhound. Then it came back and then I followed it and saw that the guy was also following it so I hid. Then I saw them talking and it said something about orders and how he is doing something wrong, and then it stopped talking so I went back and got people and then we went back and the hellhound was gone so and then he read a Darkness scroll and tried to run away but the panther and me got him. And then we asked him questions after a spell got cast and he said he was helping the bad guys and then Val wanted to throw him off the cliff, but they didn't let him and we took him to Cordor and he was heavy.

Loynis reads the statement a mild look of amusement whispering to himself "They always run.." then with a sigh he leaves the report to Renais and Aylomen
