*a professional and elegantly written notice is placed up in well travelled areas of Amia and nearby isles some notices even find there way to Caraigh*

Horsemen Mission Statement

I felt it was appropriate in luex of even further allegations to spread some light on what we stand for and put to rest these unfounded, misleading rumors that abound the isle and parts of the mainland. It is with this reason I present our mission statement.

Mainly, we were formed to rid the isle of the self rightious groups that would call themselves defenders of Kohlingen namely the Triadic Knights and as well the Cordor Guard, also as of late the Eternal Order and in fact any group that would hinder the natural growth of the free people. I would mention that the Cordor Guard has shown much improvement as of late adopting a ballot appointed government. This is not unlike how we vote in our members and select our officers within our ranks. We see this as step in the right direction.

We believe that these powers that be are, in effect, a hinderance to the further evolution of the free people of Amia. Furthermore, they impose what -they- believe and enforce their dogma even where it is not wanted. These afformentioned groups are thus seen as corrupt in there ways of dealing with things, and we intend to and will stand against this. We have not, nor do we intend to harm the innocent. Such an act is seen as dishonorable and detrimental to the growth of a perfected society. So it for this reason we "ride".

I would add here the Horsemen follow no -one- diety, such individual dogmas is not stressed nor 'preached' in our ranks. Beyond popular belief, however, the Horsemen are not "godless", we simply are bound together with a common goal other than our individual diety's dogmas.

A Horsemen is a messenger bringing the message that the free people of Amia can stand up for themselves. We do not need a pseudo parent, if you will, to protect us. Furthermore, we believe when the young are taught at an early age, discipline and self-improvement they will grow to be strong and self-sufficient. It's a dangerous world and one should be prepared for it or perish.

We do use what some would see as questionable tactics to achieve this. All Horsemen are taught to use -any- means necessary to reach our goals, save that of a dishonorable act. We feel an orderly society is paramount and will lend -aid- and police lands to ensure a safe environment for the growth of those who are willing to seek self-perfection. Those that choose to remain in their weakened condition will most assuredly die that way.

We battle gazing our enemies directly in the eyes. A Horsemen conducts themselves with integrity and honor. Our battles are fought with an honorable strategy, along with the unwavering discipline of Horsemen training which leads us to countless victories. There is also a presence of a mutual respect among -all- Horsemen no matter rank. We follow a strict code of honor we entitle "Horsemen Protocol". This collective respect, for example, is stated primarily in Protocol Four, "All ranks will show due respect to those under or above them."

We are not about spouting orders and demeaning our lower ranks into a fearful submission. Orders are carried out through a common understanding of the power of the chain of command. Our officers are responsible for those Horsemen that reside under them, and take this responsibility -very- seriously. In light of such, orders are followed due to this mutual respect of rank. The lower ranks stand firm in the knowledge that the officers are indeed well informed, in addition, having wisdom and tact to take the best possible path for the least amount of casualties possible to acheive our goals. We hide very little of what we are about. We do however take great precautions securing the intricate plans we design.

Horsemen are to remain nameless and use alias's. Some of these alias's are designed to strike fear in those that would stand against us, some take a more benevolent alias. In either case this ensures that when there enlistment is up they can retire without being hunted for there service to the Horsemen. Apocalypse is a rank, that of High General, and this means ,to our ranks, a radical change in the status quo. We stand firm in upholding this ideal and will stop at nothing to see it is achieved.

Incedentally, if you happen to agree with what you've just read and are interested in joining our ranks we will have a Horsemen in Wiltun posted in the days to come to speak with you about joining.

In Wharftown a pair of glitering eyes peer out from the darkness. A curiosity at first then a smoldering anger as the eyes recognize the name and subject of the poster being put up. When the person is done with their work, the eye's watch and remember his looks, his walk, and most importantly his smell as they depart. The eyes wait until they cannot be heard in the distance, and squeezes out of his hiding place, apearing as a small disheveled badger. He quickly transforms to that of a small kobold and haitily reads and memorizes the new sign.

He ponders the message at length and mumbles a few draconic curses. Then, produces a fine quill and in cobalt ink pens a responce in a expert hand, yet imprecice syntax.

The Horesemen might better eplains how Pit Fiends and Necromancers from Tarkuuls are better for security of innocent peoples. Better yets, explains about upcommings attack on War Knights.

-Brinsar

He finishes and lopes off in the shape of a large wolf to follow the people haning signs, careful to remain out of sight.

*Rose returns to look over the notice she posted seeing the snide comments*

Soo thats where he went...back under the rock he crawled out from I'd imagine heh...

*she mumbles to herself*

oh well he was a waste of space anyways and apparently doesn't seem to realize what questionable tactics are.

*she does leave a small note under the comment left in Wharftown*

If we planned to attack the War Knights I have full faith they would know it by now. We have no intention of attacking the War Knights in fact the Warlord Calin and myself follow the very same diety. There presence in Endirs point I hope will be uneventful actually. I would miss our fireside chats should something happen to him. He actually thinks before he writes or speaks. Unlike some lower lifeforms. I don't suppose you can -prove- any of this rhetoric you slanderously write. Get your stories straight and if you have something to say to the Horsemen I'd rather meet in person. Calin, I would ask if you see this to do the honorable thing and vouch for us concerning that we have no desire to attack the War Knights. As I've stated in a letter to you and vowed by my honor as follower of the Red Knight. I most assuredly wouldn't and couldn't bring myself to attack my long time friend Arial as well which is also a War Knight. Honour and Strength.

Apocalypse

*she takes out a quill and notes the name*

The Forest note is removed and promptly shown to the Arch-Druidesses.

A certain high ranking knight sighs as he reads a copy of one of the notices.

You have no idea what are you talking about Rose. Your group was formed by sociopaths in the past to remove the weak and the helpless from the island, because they believed that it will make our world a better place. Who do you call arbitrary? The ones who stand up against you when you make a pact with a devil lord?

Amid the tolling bells of sea-faring vessels, and the calls and yells of fish merchants, a certain mustached wizard reads the poster, sparing it a few moments of his time.

The sounds of laughter are heard shortly after.

Painted in bright red over the poster in Wiltun wrote by one cloaked in invisibility.

*not really sure who left the message she comments on the notice*

I'm fully aware of those that formed the Horsemen. I've already stated I had reformed the organization several times in past notices and this is where we now stand. The Horsemen of today are -not- the Horsemen of the past. Heralds of a radical change in the status quo? Exactly.

Apocalypse

*shortly after Rose goes to check on the notice in the forest finding it missing evidently the hemp twine she used to tie the notice in the forest respectably to the trees was also gone*

Oh well saved me the trouble of removing it myself.

*shrugs after thinking out loud and continues on her way*
