*Posted around Kampos Storehouse, Bendir Dale, and Cordor are letters in dark-brown paper that is surprisingly smooth to the touch. Colorful stitchings, in silver, of coral decorate the flyers, and the writing is in neat, cursive silver:*
I am seeking fellow followers of the Water King, Istishia, for the purpose of getting together and sharing our thoughts and beliefs. Both veterans and rookies are welcome. You need not be a follower to attend! A mere curiosity in the Water Lord's nature is sufficient.
The group session will be at Bendir Dale, at the tavern, where free drinks and refreshments will be provided while we get to know one another. Then, over a meal of fresh Fish provided by the Water King's graces, we will discuss three major aspects of Water and how it relates to the life of the believer: Water's inexhaustibility, adaptability, and cyclic nature.
Afterwards, we will make a trip to Istishia's Shrine in Uhm for silent prayer, or in the case of the unbeliever, silent contemplation.
Finally, we will conclude with shell searching at the Sandy Beach. We will use that time in small celebration of the beauty Water washes on our shores.
To those interested, please list so here.
-Sincerely, Kristinne Mars

Willow rubs her chin as she reads the note in Bendir Dale, finding it interesting it seems. The Silvanite Druid heads out of town soon after.

I may not be a devout or even somebody with a friendly attitude towards this lord, But i promise i won't throw a fit if there's things i just don't agree with. I wish to see, i wish to learn - Nothing else. Nobody's going to tell us what's good or bad based on their subjective experiences or assumptions, i wish to speculate myself!
I-.. Gods my thoughts move ahead of me as i write this, So sorry in advance if it's a somewhat confuzzled letter. Nonetheless, I shall try to come at your appointed time to learn!

A slight elven woman walks by. Her step graceful and flowing as her jewel-toned blue robes swirl about her, and pauses briefly to read the note posted and contemplates silently and serenely as smiles under her concealing hood. In the darkness of her hood, her eyes glint reddishly as she blinks. She walks on, a moment later, using her staff, with a carved fish tail at the top, to guide her on her way past Kampos Storehouse towards the ship that would take her to the Salandran Temple and grounds. Later, a letter is sent to Kristinne Mars.
To Kristinne Mars,
I am very interested in this meeting you are arranging. I do not know if I will be able to attend, but if I can I will. If not perhaps you and I can arrange to meet at another time. I can be found most often at the Salandran Temple, and at the Shrine in Uhm. Lord of Waves Enfold.
~ Kali'lieesril Idoleryshyn, Priestess of Istishia ~
The note is sealed with wax, impressed with what looks like a signet ring. The symbol is plain: A Cresting Wave, the symbol of Istishia. Encircling the Wave is an image of the graceful serpentine form of a Kara-Turan Dragon; for those who know of such creatures, it has the tell-tale features of a Chiang Lung, or River Dragon.

Kristinne Mars, in a set of Istishian blue and white robes, marked with various magical runes, approaches the sign. The woman is young and uneblievably short and dimunituve - almost elf-like, for a human. Her hair, easily her most striking feature, is a light blue...and appears natural. To a trained eye, the explanation for her exotic features can be attributed to a trace of fey blood.
She steps up to the board, and a small enthusiastic smile instantly crosses her face as she sees evidence of activity. Reading the first note, she smiles in excitement, but quickly frowns as she sees no immediate way to contact the poster. She posts in response,
I will gladly purchase a Ring of Istishia from you, sir...if you but tell me how to get a hold of you. Or perhaps ma'am. If you want...come to the session, and I can purchase it off you there.
She continues scanning before coming across the note left by Caleb and Celev. A content smile shows on her features...almsot serene. She posts in response,
The Water King's ways are universal and can be applied by anyone. Already you are demonstrating the Aspect of Adaptability. You are open and are willing to learn and experience new things. This makes you adaptive...and accepting, like water. A pebble is not repelled or expunged by water. It sinks and is submerged, accepted. I look forward to meeting you!
Later, as she's changing from her robes into attire more comfterable for home...she finds Idolyrshyn's letter. After reading it, she beams, and hastily writes back,
Miss. Kali'lieesril Idoleryshyn,
It is an honor to receive a letter from you. I hope you can make it...I am sure your knowledge in the Water King is much more advanced than my own, and would serve those who attend the session more fruitfully. That being said, I will come find you as soon as possible, at your convenience...I would be eager to learn whatever you can instruct me with. I want do a best job possible when spreading the ways of Water. I've not known, or even seen, a priest or priestess of Water in a long, long time.
-Sincerely yours in Flowing Majesty, Kristinne Mars
Kristinne holds the signet ring in her fingers, studying the River Dragon. She turns it several times over, the goes on to place it near a wooden box on her desk, containing a rather excessive number of sea shells - full and cracked alike.

*Nina spots the notice in Bendir and, knowing that she can't simply light the notice on fire as they are not obstructive or against Dale policy, instead adds a prestidigitation of a flame over any locations of the name Istishia, Water Lord, and Water King. The flickering "flames" are in the fashion of the symbol of Kossuth and make it difficult to read the text behind them but not entirely impossible to the patient.*

*Bendir Dale*
The blue haired mage takes a moment to pause, curious at the sight of all the flickering fires on the posted messages. As her light blue eyes begin to darken in contemplation and recognition of the flaming symbols for what they are, Kristinne cannot help prevent her hands from trembling. Cold sweat begins to pour down her brow and she suddenly glances around in her immediate vicinity. Everything seems more suspicious to her now...the pair of elven adventurers exiting the inn, the lone red-headed hin guard outside the gate checking her short sword, even the baker selling a loaf of sweetbread to a couple of hin girls.
It might be a prank...just a prank. Hin are known for pranks.
Hands trembling still, she fumbles her first couple of attempts to dispel the prestignations with her own abjuration. On the third try, she manages to wink them out. She feels a coldness on her back and soon recognizes it for sweat. The back of her shirt is drenched in it. She quickly heads to the inn for a drink, looking to quickly forget what she just saw...and perhaps events more distant.

One day later, Kristinne returned the message board where her work had been covered by the Kossuthian Flames. There was a sense of uneasiness about her, a stiff feeling of nervouness. But they were nothing like the overwhelming fear and panic she had felt the day before. She told herself that today, she was going to be reasonable, and see if she could confront her offender and ask, politely of course, if he or she could stop covering her messages with offensive graffiti.
She took a seat on one of the benches by the notice board. Her small round face displayed a stubborn and even prideful expression. The tidal wave encrested in a circle, in the form of a silver charm, hung boldly around her neck in plain view. There she sat and waited for the culprit, in case he, or she, would return to clutter her messages with more presitgnations.
She tried her best to maintain a challenging expression, as if expecting to taunt the offender into view. She was still self-aware, however, of how her hands trampled slightly. She mentally cursed herself for being such a scaredy-cat! She was, after all, in a town with law and guards and stuff thats supposed to make you safe. Of course, no one could harm her here. There was really no reason for her to be afraid. But she knew herself well enough. She was a person who simply scared easily, and that was a flaw she had gotten used to dealing with.
She sat and waited for the culprit, readying herself, trying to get over her own fraidy-cat feelings, mustering courage for an encounter that she half-desired not to occur.

A large, fiery haired,soot-skinned man in similarly covered armor may wander by while she waits. He would look at the signs for a time, then turn to Kristinne and give a thumbs up.
"Water gives off steam in is' jealousy, aye. But I commend yer effort."

"Fire is extinguished by even steam," she quickly retorts, not half-understanding what she's even quite saying - the mere quoting giving her a measure of confidence and making her feel better. She eyes the soot-colored man waril a moment.
Then, in a tone much less confident and considerably more timid,
"Are...you the one covering my messages with prestignations?"
She quickly cursed herself in her head, for it was obvious, at least to her anyway, that she had not come out half as strong or assertive as she had intended. She knew she must have come across as meek.

*The man would shake his head*
"Nay. I believe the purity o' Kossuth doesn't lend well of such happenin's. Jus' parlor tricks. Dun' get yerself worked up, lass."
*Though by his tone, it seems obvious he picked up on the slip, and was answering it as much as her actual question*

Kristinne shot the man an annoyed look.
"Don't get myself worked up...?! These troubling tricks are far from harmless! They might make the difference between someone with the patience to read the notice completely through...and someone without it. What if someone doesn't show up because of this? Someone who, otherwise, would have embraced Water and lived tenfold happier because of it? What if these horrible, evil tricks have just ruined this poor man's future?!"
Kristinne sits there and trembles, shivers, and shakes.

*At the explosion, Solrend would simply blink*
"Yer not one fer water. Not with a temper like that. Slow down, flow, and gain yer wits."
*He walks off*

The young Istishian watches the man walk off and soon feels a guilty, embarassed pang in her chest. Her hands still tremble - but at what, she still can't tell. It wasn't anger, but it wasn't fear either...or was it?
She quickly pushed the thought out of her head and instead tried to find humor in the situation. She could not.

Again the elven woman walks by, her blue and green robes swirling around her, her staff at her side, her face covered by the deep dark hood. She pauses along her way, glancing at the sign and the Flames. For a time she does not move, but looks at them with consideration and patience, memorizing their construction, their flickering paths. Her hand absently traces the holy symbol at her chest, the Cresting Wave of Istishia, her signet ring flashing in the light on her hand. She murmurs finally, in a soft voice, heavily accented as one who had dwelled long in Kara-Tur:
"This shall be an interesting cycle. . . "
Again she walks away, heading for the Salandran Temple; her contemplation apparent in her very frame as she windingly walks along, taking no particular path to reach her destination. Later another note is sent to Kristinne Mars.
To Kristinne Mars,
I have received your letter. Thank you for your thoughtfulness in the sending of it. I would very much enjoy meeting you and speaking of the Way of Watery Paths, and the others Ways of the Water Lord. I have also seen the Flames upon your notice. As such I would offer advice, because I have encountered such things before in my travels, and I understand how discouraging they can be. I ask that you do not feel put out because of their appearance; the Followers of the Fire Lord have ever attempted to mar the face of our Lord. Do not cease for their meddling, but continue to Flow. This I advise you. Watch and listen, be patient as the drop that erodes mountains, be diligent. If they start to hound you, remember... change your course if necessary, flow around the obstacles they would place before your path and find a new one until you have reached your destination.
Water Lord Enfold.
~Kali'lieesril Idoleryshyn, Priestess of Istishia~
After writing the note Kali folds it closed; she holds a small ingot of sealing wax above a lit candle, and contemplates the tiny flame as it melts the wax. Here was Fire, controlled and monitored and subject to her will. Each Element had its usefulness, and Water was the Element that bound all of the others together. When the wax is hot and ready to be dripped on the note, she reaches out a swift and elegant hand, fingers wetted, and deftly extinguishes the candle with a hiss.
"There is nothing in this world that is not subject to the influence of Water, she murmurs, even if it is by its absence."
So saying she seals the corner of the note shut with the wax, and quickly presses into it with her signet ring. The symbol is plain: A Cresting Wave, the symbol of Istishia. Encircling the Wave is an image of the graceful serpentine form of a Kara-Turan Dragon; for those who know of such creatures, it has the tell-tale features of a Chiang Lung, or River Dragon.

Kristinne waited, filled to the brim with excitement and enthusiasm. She knew it was not befitting of her as a follower of Water remain so stirred, but she could not help it. Istishia was a big part of who she was, and she had to spend years of her life following it in solitude, with no fellow companion for her to share her aqua passion with.
That was about to change. How could she feel anything less than excited? Thrilled?
The minutes passed...minutes turned to hours...and no one came. Her enthusiasm slowly waned from her, gradually. But to her knowing satisfaction, she was not overwhelmed with disappointment, but rather, filled with a serene and calculating feeling. She had just learned that, at least around this particular area, at least during this particular week, very few people were interested in Istishia. That was something she didn't know before, and she felt calm and thankful for learning a new fact. It was a pleasant feeling that surprised her.
Well I guess thats it, then. No one around the Dale is interested. Time to pack up and find a better place.
She shouldered her pack and was thankful she hadn't yet placed an order for all the fish. She hadn't any mess to clean up. She nodded to the hin barkeep and was on her way out.
