Left in person by one mustached mage, this missive is in a practiced and elegant script, a waxen seal with the symbol and stars of Mystra adorned.
To Whom it Concerns,
I would like to propose a correspondence between the Temple of Salandra and the Mystran Monolith on the subject of 'necrotic cysts.' As you might be aware, yet again there is a growing enclave of Red Wizards attempting to establish themselves upon the isle. One of the common practices with their prisoners and slaves is the utilization and implanting of necrotic cysts. This vile magic is nothing less than an abuse of magic, which in short allows for varying degrees of control upon the unwitting victim, including the ability to kill them on a whim.
Their removal is a rather bloody combination of abjuration and surgery.
Whilst I have personal observational experience in the removal of necrotic cysts, as well as moderate skill in the science of medicine and surgery, I believe a correspondence between our two Institutions may be invaluable in seeing knowledge of the removal of such malign magic spread to others who may not be as learned.

*A reply, briefly and quickly written, finds its way departing the lonely Ruathym isle of the Monolith to the temple of Salandra.*
I shall make myself available to speak with you as soon as mutually convenient.
I should mention an account of the removal of a necrotic cyst was uncovered and re-scribed by Monolith apprentice and librarian, Parrish Wyndham. I believe this tome would make a fine addition to the collection of your temple.
