In several places about the isle, including most cities, towns, and Amia forest (but notably not inside Winya itself), the notices appear over the course of a few days. Each consists of a song and a musical score beside it. The notes are unsigned, and written in a vivid red ink. Hubris
Qirlan is such a blasphemous mage, He hates all the dark elves in his rage, Presuming to tread where the Elflord did not With this he displays for all his inner rot.
Corellon banished the ancient drow, a fact so true Down to blackest depths below, a fate to rue. But he left for them a holy and noble light, Dark Maiden’s moon shining through the night, The Elflord left redemption to lay in her hand, Their utter destruction Corellon did not demand.
For Qirlan this is not enough you all should fear, For he holds dreams of drowish destruction oh so dear, He missteps beyond the Elflord’s manifested will His purpose being his own dark and vengeful thrill. He cares not for the light or darkness in their souls, To him all moondancing drow are same as the moles.
The Revenancer of this elf would be so darkly proud, More than in his appearance he’s again a drow, The Queen of Spiders must be so evilly gleeful, To see Qirlan repeat mistakes of his ancestral people, Rationalizing hatred and venom of hubris born, Of his gods-given nature, he slowly is shorn.
Again Aryvandaar's madness rears its ugly head, Qirlan shan’t rest till every dark elf lies cold and dead. He believes he’s wiser than the bright heavens’ Coronal, Time has shown such leads to the inevitable fall, When hateful hauteur makes the soul cold and wan, Remember that which befell the House Vyshaan!
Qirlan is such a blasphemous mage, An sun elven Karsus in the modern age, Presuming to tread where the Elflord did not, With this he displays so well his inner rot.
