A simple paper note is stuck to whatever it might be stuck to with a dagger, written in purply blue ink.

"Reader, I am in desperate need of carbon to create steel, I have tried burning logs but frankly
i'm done making trips to howness only for the materials to burn to ash. as an incentive I offer 100 coin for each
peice of carbon, way over the market price. I can be found via speedys // tell "kkinsane2010" // or by looking at
either the smithy in cordor or the market hall, or the refinery near dale, if i'm not out on the hunt at the time.

Glyph starwind, Apprentice weaponsmith

ps. logs are also acceptable for the same price, though we should meet at the refinery so I can try once more to get it right.
and if you stick around I could even craft a steel weapon free of charge, providing all goes smoothly with the materials."
