Those who know her will recognize Josalynn Sweetsong, with part of her hair cut off and a nail on her forehead supporting a note on it: There is no joy in anarchy. There are also marks of whips on her back, probably made of chain, doing the deepness of the wounds.*

Ana, on her way to the Temple of Love to pray, nearly passes out at the sight...she manages to drag the body into the temple, sobbing and screaming for Xaviera...

Josalynn awakes, still tied up hands to feet in a fetal position. She has no idea a note had been nailed to her forehead as it was gone before hand. Her wounds are tended to minimally, enough to see that her life is no longer in danger, but instead of being released, the Tiefling merely picks her up and steps into a portal.

He carries her through shadowscape and into the shadowplane itself "i wish to ask you some questions" he says as he takes her there.

They are met by another in the plane, apparently followed. After some amount of arguing between the two men, Josalynn is untied and allowed to stand. She and the tiefling have a private conversation and all part peacefully.

Josalynn returns to the Temple of Love to check and make sure no one or nothing has been wronged there. After she is satisfied all is alright, she dons long trousers, blouse and long coat, quickly crafting a hood to match she heads into Cordor to try and find Xavi.

In Cordor she finds Xavi along with her husband, Araxus, brother, Josiah and Vaelmith. She greets them all with a smile and tries desperately to avoid any questions about herself while checking to make sure they are all well.

After many more events one following another, her husband and brother finally coerce from her the truth of what happened and take her to the Salandrans for healing.

Rax gives his wife a haircut, evening out the mess that was made of her mop. Poor Jos is reduced to something not far from a buzz cut.

He spares her the usual lecture, knowing there is nothing he can say that will carry more weight than what she has already suffered.

As a few days pass the full story is forced from Josalynn to Xavi, at the fierce insistence of her brother Josiah.

Josalynn is also seen by many in the bath house, her hair cut almost completely off. Her back, though now healing nicely, bares the fading scars showing the brutality of the chain whip used on her by her captors.

While Josalynn still tears up and cringes at the thought of the pain she endured each time she tells her tale, she is beginning to think of the things she considers to be joyful in nature during her incarceration.

"Oh my dear sweet mistress of joy. I thank you for your ever presence. I know that you will never abandon me, nor will you let me suffer needlessly. I pray that they witnessed a portion of your power. The power of joy. A power that knows no bounds and cannot be snuffed out by any force either on faerun or in the planes of the gods themselves." she smiles up at her goddesses statue in the Temple of Love.
"May your seeds of joy prove to take root in the midst of those who attempt to force themselves between you and the peoples of faerun. For the power of joy can not be taken from -any- who know it's trueness. May your joy forever be what drives my spirit." She leans forward and kisses the feet of her goddess.
