To remedy this sad state of affairs, I am looking for a carpenter who can make me a proper sign for my business. Possible further employment if you're not a goof.

I'm glad there's at least one woodworker on this island! I'm going to need a few signs, for different purposes and listings. Probably 8 in all. Don't worry, the signs may be free but your time will be paid! Please reply to tell me how much you would charge, since it's a big order. I also have a few logs if you need them. I can probably make time to meet you at your convenience, if you let me know that too.

During one of his many rounds, he finds the Speedy's letter waiting for him in the Hinn Inn.
Madrik drags his feet and hangs his head before leaning heavily on the bar. He coughs slightly through a closed mouth as he reads the letter.
A reply is left and sent. The handwriting is in cursive Common with elegance and the signature looks as if it was written habitually.
"Please leave a time and place to either meet or for me to drop off the eight signs. Again, this is free of charge.
--Cpt. Madrik Street"

I'm amazed! Rest assured you'll get a discount at my shop once it's set up in thanks for your services. I can come pick up the signs this very day, the one we're in right now, at this very moment! I'll come by Speedy's Messenger Service (henceforth to be referred to as the SMS in this document) this afternoon to pick them up!
