Dear fellows,
I now perform a profound act of Hypocrisy as I use the medium of "Poster" to complain about the overt amount of Posters.
This comes in direct response to the inherent abuse of the written word that often takes place in the vast amounts of propaganda spread amidst the City of Cordor and the surrounding terrain.
This is perhaps in direct response to the aggravation that I have found myself unable to perform the basic functions required of humanoid life without being bombardment by ill-conceived advertisement be it fetching a drink of water from a well or simply relieving myself in the sanitation facilities of the city.
I, humbly, request that articles of propaganda be limited to specific locales with reasonable traffic, and that all citizens likewise take it upon themselves to retrieve, crumple, and discard posters displayed in the mass in ill-suited locations.
Further, as a Linguist, I am aggravated by the high demand of parchment placed upon the local market, particularly because my last order was put upon back fill because some random individual had once more alleviated merchant of his entire stock.
The written word is a powerful tool that proceeds to be dulled by being wielded in the hands of half-wits, and consequently seems to be used in the least effective means feasible.
For you villains, I will not be wrought with chills and shivers of fear by your proclamations of impending doom. Particularly, if you cannot display the capacity to deliver your message directly into the path of its would-be recipient. Mass distribution is a tool of those whom lack in ingenuity. I can, off-hand, conceive of at least a dozen more ominous methods of delivering portent then a Poster.
For the religious, if you recruit with mass ill-conceived written word instead of eloquent speech, you for one, are missing the vast majority of your targeted demographic. The average citizen is more likely to bring your poster to the privy then to achieve enlightenment via your distributed propaganda.
For those unwilling to comply with this reasonable request, I make the following proposal for an act of vigilantism with the aid of any individuals whom share in common belief.
For acts involving the heinous and frivolous distribution of propaganda, we shall locate and subdue the individual beyond the lands of the Cordorian Commonwealth, baste them in molten tar, and finely decorate them with their own works.
At the very least, the act of a tar and postered individual running and screaming through the wild would likely garner more attention to his or her cause then the originally chosen means.
Signed, Concerned Citizen Velis Illuminus
*In Smaller Text* Velis Illuminus does not condone nor encourage acts of vigilantism within the boundaries of the Cordorian Commonwealth or other sovereign city-states.

Gliding out of the shadow next to one of these postings, Rach'el becomes visable, her copper eyes gazing upong the note.
Ripping the note down from where it's posted she replaces it with another. Her beautifully flowing script is in common.
Velis Illuminus would like to apologize to all those whom are not fellows. Having so restrictive an audience was not his intent.
He would also like to apologize for his blathering on and instead would like to condence his rambling into the following:
"I am lonely and in need of compainionship to the point that if someone doesn't find me soon to take care of this issue I will be forced to put up another long silly tirade. Please help me."
As she fades into another shadow she pops Velis's note into her mouth and makes a yummy noise.

On the prowl amidst posters to which he's made his addendum, he comes across this correction and carefully reads it.
He then produces a charcoal pencil and remarks upon it.
That's the spirit! Zero tolerance for written tirades. Though the condensed version is a bit inaccurate, I appreciate where you are coming from. If knew who you were, I'd kiss you. Though I wonder about your misspelling of companionship. Com'pain'ionship.. Were you trying to hint at something?
"In need of companionship..." He chuckles and taps his staff against the side of his head. "Hey! I am in need of companionship... Elle where are you?!" After quick sequence of spells, the sorcerer goes zipping across the landscape in fey form.

A small, red-haired tiefling, having gotten to the limit of her patience about halfway through Velis' massive poster, sits down in her usual place in Cordor with a stack of papers. She writes one word on each. For the next....many, many hours, she spends time covering each of his posters with several of her own, which, in general, spell out: "Nobody. Wants. To. Read. This. Crap. You. Waste. Paper. Too." And other such absurdities; the more paper, the better.
That done, she wanders off, dusting off her hands.

Happening upon one of the huge stacks of addendum added to his original notes, he gapes. Blinking, as a flimsy peg snaps and the stack goes fluttering about Cordor cobblestones.
"Well, I'm soundly defeated... Now if only this individual would dedicate the same effort to the other 'Crap' people don't want to read.. I wouldn't have been annoyed enough to waste my time with the first round of addendum."
He prods the stack of fallen papers with his staff and hums, "Only one word each.."
He visits just a few of the locations of his original note and collects the piles, carefully placing the papers into bags of holding.
"There... ten-fold return on my investment. Not hard to write around one word."
//Ah the glories of boredom at work.
