I am interested in this training you have proposed. The finer points of battle and tactics appeal to me though I can give or take the honorable side of things. You will however find me to be eager to learn and listen and will not ignore the things I do not agree with while under your tutelage. Until recently I was a proficient warrior in both longsword and bow though life has dictated I turn my attentions to a more serious role as a warrior and as such I have dedicated myself to training with a hand-and-a-half sword. I am far from incompetent with the blade but I am not to where I wish to be with it, and my sense of tactics and strategies are far outdated and have not been truly practiced nor properly updated to fit with this heavier blade. I am fully equipped, as far as I can tell, and have sense enough to be able to train in survivability on my own but I have long sought masters of the art to instruct me in the finer point I have lost since my youth. I am far from the blank slate that most instructors wish to have in a pupil though you shall find me even more dedicated to your teachings because of it. Please let me know if these attributes qualify me for your training regiment.
