*Not far from the leyline node in Amia Forest stood a lone spear stabbed into the ground with the mangled head of a dark haired modest looking man's head upon it, among the flies that gather, if one was to chance come upon and retrieve the head, one would notice it is of the man commonly known as "Jace" with the words "MALAR" carved into his forehead, and a note stuffed in his mouth. Upon opening it's contents, it would read in blood. "This is a warning to all those of the Grove, that the Beastlord's words not fall upon deaf ears. Amia forest belongs to Him, as does Despairs and every blade of grass on the Isle. We release you this head in hope that our prey be ever bountiful...and to Crow...I told you so.....*

A small leopard darts out, her nose twitching rapidly and her ears flattened to her head. She runs straight to the leyline where her form shifts with much cracking of bones and stretching of tendons into that of a small wereleopard.

After carefully removing the spear she darts off again with the head cradled to her fur. A low growl rumbling in her throat she darts back to the Grove, the gate guards apparently familiar enough with this particular lycan to let her through with no fuss.

*a dark hulking figure views the carnage, a smoldering anger clearly visible on his rough features*

A large oak leaf is left hanging on the nearest branch with writing upon it. It reads:

"Once again the predator becomes prey, fool. The Grove isn't whom you should fear. I'll be camped right here, in your "lords" forest, if you dare show your face. Your days are numbered."

*Crow spends more time with his dire wolf companion, in the Forest of Despair, slaughtering countless Malarites. He travels to the old Mystran Temple, and even the Malarite Temple, daring to go inside and eliminate the next weak Chosen*

"My house is protected. Who protects your house, hmmm?"

*He chuckles and cleans the blood from the gleaming silver, elven blade, that was made just for him*
