This note is left by the kitchen cabinet, right on top of the book.

Dear Members of the Oakmist Vale,

I had tried to search in vein where your notice board may be, so I thought the most logical place would be to leave a note near the kitchen cabinet and where food items are store.

I am writing to inform you due to severe weather conditions, there has been a fire caused by a lightning bolt that fell on the valley where the Shekats are.

The fire was massive and we had to resort to extreme measures to put it out. We apologize for any additioanl damage we may have caused to the valley due to the ice storms we conjured.

Hearthkeeper's Blessing,
Laurel Beestinger

Some of the area is flattened and dug up, where someone obviously used a tower shield and metal plated boots to stomp out fires. From the looks of it, they got hit by some of the ice storms, but there are no signs of death, or battle. Collateral damage, perhaps. Near all the spots are also orc- or ogrillion-sized tracks. Those who know the pair might remember that Katina Mohammed and Dragga had been about aiding in putting out the fires.
