I request directions to an instructor in the trade of alchemical practices.

Replies below. Thank you.

Hello!

I do think that Kohlingen has the teacher you seek. I might be wrong, but he should be located near Mayfield's and the mage merchant's building.

Have a delightful day!

This is posted wherever Salema's note is.

Salema is wrong, actually! There is no alchemist in Kohlingen, unless you count Tuomas. I doubt he has the time or the tools or workspace to teach someone, though. As a matter of fact, ever since the fall of Mystra's Monolith, I've searched everywhere and sent many people looking for a master of the trade who could teach alchemy. The search was futile. If you find one, do let me know! I would happily hire alchemists, and I have some people who are willing to learn.

Good luck on your search!

My apologies for the misinformation! I only spoke with him once, so it must be something else.

In any case good luck with your search, I wish you the best!

This is most unfortunate. I hope such a situation does not persist longer than it takes for a suitable tutor to consider sharing their knowledge.

A reply is given on the Bendir Dale note. It's done in a flowery script and close scrutiny would indicate it was painted on with a brush instead of a quill. The ink itself is obsidian black and oily in nature.

Quote:

Board the Forest's Gift to cross the endless Mass of Tears.
Follow the point of the Sword of Air.
Wary the Path for it is trackless.
Search for the Lands where the timeless Abominations walk feeding of the All.
There lies a Tower clad with Sails that crushes the Seed of the Eath.
Scour the Place for there you might find the Secrets of the Twin Snakes.

[A reply is left below the Bendir reply.]

Your cryptic directions have been decrypted to within 75%. I will be following the directions.

While replying in code was as far as efficiency is concerned, unnecessary, I thank you for the mental workout.
