The reply to his post was met- Dakon had found a tutor to introduce him to the deathless arts. The man who had been seen practicing a ritual as he entered Tarkuul the day before was not to be disturbed, but the following day provided a bit of luck to Dakon. It was a fairly brief discussion- it started with a warning to ensure full understanding of what will be undertaken. The rest of the discussion presented itself as a list of odds and ends to gather for the first ritual. Dakon left the library with his head tingling from anticipation. His quest had begun.
-Eye of a Ghoul -Eye of a Zombie -Eye of a Mummy -Human Cadaver -Complete Skull -Ritual Dagger -Wraith Ectoplasm -Onyx Gem -Black Candles
Dakon ventured to Moribound to exhume the recently dead, and it appeared he found more than a few things on his list. Eyes of zombies and Ghouls were plucked from heads with relative ease, and the rainy night pushed Dakon to go underground into the Crypts. A trove of treasures to choose from, but which body will be chosen?

Dakon's Quest continues....Dakon traveled to several places in hopes of finding the items he needed for the ritual, and most of the items he needed were fairly easy to find...some however, were a bit troublesome to obtain. The eyes and the other body parts were easy enough, and the Onyx gem was purchased in Tarkuul since it seemed to be so useful to necromancers. What gave Dakon the most trouble, was extracting ectoplasm from a wraith. While it may have sounded easy to Dakon, the task was nothing of the sort. He finished his list with the containment of the ectoplasm, but he would never again wish to milk a wraith. He packed up all of the items on his list and put them into a box to be left in safekeeping in a place only he knows. Dakon now prepares for the ritual by getting used to pain, so he decides to cut himself over and over again, deeper and deeper, more and more until he cannot tolerate the pain any longer. 50 cure wounds potions later, it was to his satisfaction. Dakon will rest now, to awaken prepared to embark on his new path.
