The Necromaster can be seen limping her way into the city from the portal dock with a bloodied bag over her shoulder. She makes a beeline for the Temple of the Vaunted and disappears beyond its threshold for a couple of days.

*Recently seen walking around the city would be a winged tiefling in flowing dark robes. Keeping mostly to himself, when in the city he spends most of his time in the library.*

A particularly large dread wraith with glowing red eyes glided
silently in the night, above the roofs of Tarkuul.

A black hair woman can be has spent a lot of time in the library lately, reading old tomes and taking notes while humming on ancient battle hymns.

Alex, like very often, would first make a round through the streets of Tarkuul and then wander through the portals. Shortly after, he would return with his sword bloodied, through the same portal he left through, only to stand guard in the court of the undying.

A woman clad in black furs with a Cobra coiled around her shoulders would be seen making her way idly between the buildings of the city. Ocassionally spending a few hours a piece every few days between the libraries and the kraken inn.

An extremely thin figure, followed by a swarm of black flies, sprouted its massive death-like wings
in the Court of the Undying and after a brief conversation with the Necromaster, they both headed
towards the Tower of the Damned.

In the temple of Velsharoon the Necromaster was knelt before His idol in her routine midnight prayer. The air gre colder and a deafening silence filled the air. The Necromaster tensed up. Was she praying, or pleading? Not a few minutes into her vigil did she reel back falling on to her back and writhed in pain. The idol staring down at her stoicly. No sooner had it happened did it stop, leaving the Necromaster on the floor panting for breath and stripped of most of her powers. Pushing herself to her feet she tentatively made her way back to her office to recover.

A moustached man, that some may recognize as the former headmaster of the Magisterium, appears from the portal once again. He head to his old office and gets what appears to be two boxes containing some bottles... After that he appears to look for someone, mentioning the name of Alex.

As he can't find him right now he delivers to one of the members of the living guard a letter, magically sealed as to only open in Alex's hands.
After his short trip he opens a portal and disappears.

In recent days, Gerald can be seen in the Living City with greater frequency, first with a young woman in dark armor. It seems he's taken the girl as a student of sorts, training her in combat. They battle with training swords for long hours in the sparring ring in the Court of the Living, and the sounds of dark magic could be heard sporadically during.

He also seemed to briefly have the fortune of running into Draco Bloodcloak, a previously prominant figure in the City. The spoke at some length about the old days before leaving together via portal rod.

The Living City found itself graced by a dragon... First a Blue of injured pride and body. Then as it left offering promises of its superiors arrival... the sky darkens.

Over the skies of Tarkuul, a portal of utter darkness appears, and from it a
Shadow Dragon of truly massive proportion arrives, leaving thosespeaking to it in awe. Somehow, Gerald exchanged words with it, and they were offered a test.

Prepared for combat, the Tarkuulian delegation climbed atop it's back and were whisked away to the Shadow Plane, only to be returned... seemingly successful, yet Gerald looked somewhat humbled.

Watching the event unfold from a dimly lit window in the Velsharran temple, the Necromaster's cowled features starred - in their naturally indifferent state - at the dragons and the group of would-be martyrs. Upon seeing them return she glanced to her guardian Reaper that stood a short distance behind her and spoke almost imperceptibly.

"Here we go again."

The red-kin that especially some of the other guards might know, Alex, would be seen, though anyone familiar with the designations of the Black Company might notice a change about him. It would appear as though he has taken up the mantle of Legate. After some strolling around the enclave, and a few conversations with some persons he would find interesting, he'd go down into the barracks and take up the office, should it be empty. He'd spend quite a while in there, penning a few things, and then head back out into the city...

Sera can be seen busy in the Speakers office penning the declaration to transfer Speaker back to Gerald and give Sera the time to conduct duties as High Captain of the Black. Though she knew of the meeting she was much to busy to attend, however her familiar Newt would be floating around here or there.

*After the ordeal with the dragons, Draco can be seen heading into the Tower of the Damned and entering the office of the Headmaster. After only a few short moments Draco left the office. Muttering something about "necromancers not cleaning up after themselves". About an hour later an irritated-looking imp with a mop and bucket with a duster, rag and other cleaning tools inside, is seen heading into the office alone.*

A quiet woman in plain dark cloth and leathers visits the city of Tarkuul once again. Though this time she seems to look through the city determinedly. Her dark, translucent, wings that blend in shadows flap idly as she walks by every crevice of the city that she can access, as if she was looking for something.

Arieme could be seen idling upon the benches in Tarkuul. Studying the people and other things that come to and fro with a silent studious glare from underneath her pelted hood.

Occasionally looking down and writing within a leatherbound journal that resides upon her lap.

Sirus, the cobra, constantly wrapped around her shoulders. Forking his tongue at anyone that gets too close to garner their scent.

A half-elf in greys appeared at the castle portal in the company of a drow and Gerald. The group makes their way up to one of the castle's offices where presumably a discussion is held.

The half-elf is the first to leave the room, he does not linger long in the city and leaves via the portal.

Another drow could be seen lately in the environs of Tarkuul, to some he might be recognisable as the drow Naltyrr.

Upon arrival, the drow spends most of his time in the city library, perusing its shelves or taking notes on the rune system there. More rarely he might visit the Ghostly Kraken for a drink or to study some of the odder areas such as the ghostly trees in the Court of the Forsaken.

One day, in the early evening, a light flashed over Tarkuul. The light flared, and then suddenly became a blinding golden-scaled dragon whom rained magic upon the Triune Towers. Her powerful breath acted like a sheer force which broke pieces of two of the towers with its impact. The city's defenses responded swiftly to the abrupt threat. Answering with a torrential stream of magic and projectiles, they turned the attacking radiant dragon away, visibly wounding it.

The incident may have been brief, but it certainly drew attention. Undead of various kinds gradually complement the usual defenses, and more attention is given to the skies around them. Deep within Tarkuul, voices speak softly and soon the waters around Tarkuul are stirred.

The Living City slowly moves to a new location.

Those who frequent Tarkuul would catch wind that Mherun Xilphas intends to make an appearance soon, and would like to address those whom would call themselves allies to him.

// This will take place on Saturday, May 2nd at 2pm GMT/10am EDT. If your character frequently visits Tarkuul (or specifically hears about it IC from someone who does), they can come!

*Norick can be seen making frequent trips between the Triune Towers and the Library, his hands full with stacks of books, specifically any that specialize with evocation.*
